"Three!" Katie said as she swung down towards Meery's head, but she didn't make it before she froze. In fact, everything was frozen exempt for me. I held my breath, knowing what this meant.
"I see...that you're in a bit of a problem." Genesis said as he brushed Meery's hair with his hand, making me flinch. He gave me a smirk while hovering in the air.
"Bastard," I muttered to myself as I stared at the knife that was only centimetres from her forehead.
"Well, I'm sorry. Do you want me to leave?" Genesis raised his hand.
"No! Wait!" I yelled, making him stop. "Don't go! Help me! Please!" I blinked back tears. I hated the way I was kissing up to him, but I had too. "Don't let her hurt Meery..."
"Ok," Genesis said deviously before appearing in front of me with his hand held out. "Then just let me in."
I shook my head. "No, then I'll never be me anymore."
"Wait, I have an idea," Genesis replied. "How about we make it in the contract that I can't kill who you don't want me to kill and I'll only be in control for three minutes before waiting for you to summon me again. That's fair."
"Um..." I looked over to the painful expressions of my family and friends and frowned, my nostrils flaring. "Do I even have a choice?" I growled.
Genesis smirk widened. "Not really. Now come on."
I paused for a moment before taking my right wrist out.
"No," Genesis said. "It must be the left."
I groaned before lifting up my left hand carefully and setting it in his. Green swirls of light danced around us, making me a little dizzy. Suddenly, the light green diamond became full, making me get a fuzzy feeling in my chest as it glowed. I closed my eyes as I felt every muscle in my body shake from electricity, then it faded to white.
...
We woke up not even a second later and started the time. We broke through the bars and grabbed the knife before speeding up time again. Lucy gasped.
"Genesis?" She asked, obviously being able to see it in our face.
"Yep," we said, our voice sounding low and demonic but playful as well. "The one and only. And I decided that this time I'll play the good role for once. I think I'll find it so much more amusing."
Lucy smirk. "Ok, but let's see how long that works out. Minions!" She called. We heard screeching from the roof when suddenly these dark grey goblins jumped down. Boy were they ugly.
"Really?" We asked as we chuckled, our glowing green eyes twinkling in amusement.
We suddenly jabbed our forearm and cut down, leaving a huge gash. Blood seeped out as it suddenly turned black and formed into a dagger.
The minions bared their teeth at us as we smirked playfully, walking forwards slowly. "You know. I just don't get what minions are used for. They cause too much money and risk. I don't like them. Like I always say, the strong can destroy the weak no matter how it goes." We said before pouncing at the first demon and slicing his head off. "So disposable." We shook our head sadly before our smirk became an insane smile as we looked over to the rest of the mob. "Want a turn?" We sung lightly, each word sounding higher and more distorted then the next.
The goblins backed away slightly, worry on their face, before getting on their big boy pants and charging foreword. We laughed, running into the mess and slicing everything in sight. We laughed like a maniac. "This is great! Never have I seen anything more easy to break!" I yelled with glee as I slashed Simone's stomach.
After we were done, we checked our watch calmly after wiping the blood from it. Time already?
We turned around to see that the four hostages were gone, along with the demons. A note took its place.
Dear Seth and Genesis,
Each one of us has took a hostage and hid them with us along the world. Find them all in one months time and you can get off free. We won't bother you about it again. Good luck. You start tomorrow.
Love,
Your stalkers~P.S. Do you like hide and seek?
We smirked, our eyes darkening. Just as I thought. We looked at our watch. 5 seconds left. Things will definitely be so amusing after all.
