On the way back home from Taylor's house hours later, I noticed my ringtone going off, indicating that I got text. I check it to see that the name 'Jacob' pop up. I quickly opened it to see the following message.
Hey Audrey. I was wondering if you'd want to come over tonight. Not for sex. None of that. Just to hang out as friends, like we use to. You up for it?
I side smiled, replying with a simple 'Sure. Be there at six.'
The fact of the matter would be getting past Craig. He's basically the over protective type. So I doubt he would be okay with me going to another male's house without being accompanied by himself, of course.
I scoffed at the thought as I parked in our driveway. Exiting the car and entering the house, the aroma of freshly-cooked food hit my nose. I continued to take in the scent when Craig came behind me unexpectedly, wrapping his arms around my torso.
'Hey Baby, you were gone for like 4 hours. I missed you.' He said placing a light kiss on my cheek.
I laughed gently. 'Aww, I missed you too.' The aroma hit me once again. 'Did you cook?' I said, following the smell to the kitchen.
'Sure did. Lasagna, just the way you like.' He said, following me into the kitchen.
'Without burning anything?' I joked as I rested my elbows on the island.
'Aye now, I can cook.' He tried to say in a strict voice, failing miserably.
I burst into laughter. 'Sure, baby. Whatever tickles your hotdog.'

I kicked my feet up on the table, relaxing from straighting up the house so Audrey would feel more comfortable.
I couldn't believe how head over heels I was for this girl, but I didn't even have the balls to tell her yet.
I'm trying to rebuild our friendship before telling her how I feel. Which is why I invited her over tonight.
But I just know that it will turn into sex. That's all it's been lately, and it's something that I can't refuse.
Not only do I want to please her, but it's actually quite enjoyable for me also. The rush. The feels.
It's all so addicting..
