I hesitantly opened my eyes, blinded by the sunlight that steamed through the curtains. I turned to my side, attempting to get some more sleep, but my body ceased that from continuing.

I opened my eyes once again, staring at the clock beside me.

3:02 p.m.

I'd almost forgot about my lack of sleep last night. From hearing Craig pitching fits downstairs, I couldn't get in that many hours.

I crawled out of bed, checking my phone.

1 missed call from Jacob.

I decided to just ignore it. I'll call him back later. I began to walk downstairs, still groggy from my late sleeping.

'Craig?' I said softly. No response.

I figured that he wouldn't be here to escape from having to face me. After what happened last night, I would've done the same.

I walked over to the nightstand, expecting a note indicating where he was.

I rose an eyebrow, seeing that our nightstand was completely empty. He must have really been pissed, but it's whatever. I said what I had to say, so it's no longer my problem.

I went back upstairs to do my fix myself. I knew I wouldn't be leaving our home today, so I didn't really care how my attire appeared.

I casually slipped on floral leggings and a baggy, creme colored tank top.

I ran back down the stairs, toying with my damp hair as if flowed down my back. Plopping on our couch, I turned on the TV, channel surfing my day away.

'Craig, please call me back! I need you here with me!' I hung up anxiously from my third voice mail.

I curled up in fetal position as the roaring thunder boomed, shaking the walls as bright lightning followed.

Even though I was a 21 year old female, I was the biggest baby when

it came to storms. I always have been.

Even if Craig did nothing, he would alway comfort me and calm me down. We would sit and talk about the dumbest things while we cuddled under a blanket. He would always sing to me, since he knew that his voice was therapeutic when it came to my fears.

But it wasn't like this now. Now, I was scared out of my mind.

I jumped at the sound of the thunder once again. Uh-uh. I am NOT staying in this house.

I quickly stood up and walked toward the door. Grabbing my shoes and coat, I headed out of the door.

I swiftly walked to my car, opening the door. If Craig's not coming to me, I'm coming to him.

'Where the hell is this boy.' I softly cursed myself. I've been looking all around L.A. without even an obvious clue to where he might be. I sighed as rain quickly recovered my windshields.

Just as I was about to give up and re-route back to our home, I looked to my right, spotting his parked car, which appeared as if it had been sitting there for hours.

My eyes quickly scanned the building, wandering upward to the neon letters at the top.

'Hell. No.' I gritted through my teeth. I directly got out of my vehicle, storming toward the black-colored building.
