'A, you've been acting SUS ever since we left the club. What's up?' Taylor queried as her mouth curved downward.

I gave my bottom lip a rest from my teeth clamping on it. 'I don't know what you're talking about. I'm fine.'

I plastered a smile as I continued to play with the him of my boy shorts.

I heard Hayden moan from my lack of communication. 'Fine, we're tired of trying.'

I saw them rise from our living room couch and head toward the door from my peripheral.

'We'll call you later.' Taylor's petite voice rang.

I nodded, going behind them and locking the door as they exited.

I walked upstairs toward Craig and I room, immediately reminiscing about the sexual tension a few hours ago.

Jacob's breath on my neck, sending chills down my spine as every thrust felt better than the last. My heart racing from his touch. No man has ever made me feel that way. His soft, warm hands exploring my body as he-

'Baby?' A manly voice broke me out of my thoughts, as followed by the closing of a door.

'You've got to be kidding me.' I sneered angrily as I plopped on our bed. I rested my head on the headboard and crossed my legs in front of me as I heard heavy footsteps travel up the stairs.

His figure soon appeared in the doorframe.

'There you are.' Craig grinned widely. He slowly pulled a dozen roses from behind his back. 'Happy Anniversary, babe.'

I folded my arms and continued to look forward, expressionless.

'You weren't here..'

He let out a deep breath, walking closer to me. 'I know, I know. But something important came up.' He excused himself, leaning in for a kiss.

I quickly dodged. 'Something important came up? Craig it's 12:07. You've been out a day!' I quickly stood up. 'And the thing that hurt the most, was that you didn't even remember or care about today.'

'What? I did care about today!' His voice rose a bit.

'Oh? If you did, you would have been here with me! Not out doing god knows what!' I shouted, making my way out of the room and into the hallway, avoiding this from turning into a serious fight.

Before making it down the stairs, I was roughly pulled by my arm, forcefully turned to face him.

His jaw clenched. 'Why the hell are you being so stubborn, Audrey! I'm showing my appreciation by buying you flowers, so why can't you just accept them and stop f_cking complaining! Damn!'

I scrunched my face at his sudden attitude. 'The only reason I complain is because you don't show me the love that I so-rightfully deserve! Not even on our anniversary, and I'M the stubborn one?!'

'Yes! You are! It's like you're never pleased with what I do! Nothing is ever good for you! You just walk around being a b_tch about EVERYTHING!' He ran his hand through his short, curly hair in frustration.

I let out a shaky sigh from disappointment and shock from him calling me out of my name. I shook my head, turning to walk back in the room.

'Where are you going?' Craig growled.

'In the room. To sleep in MY bed. Have fun sleeping on the couch, douche.' I snapped, slamming the bedroom door in his face.
