i'm leaning on the counter of the coffee shop my mom got me a job at with her friend's daughter. mostly i try to ignore her, because i know she fancies me and i just don't like her. or girls for that matter.

annabelle is flirting with the thirty year old businessman that for sure has a wife while i busy myself with organizing the pastries in the display case. annabelle usually rules over the music player, but i take this opportunity to change from her terrible country music to something else. i press play on a recommended playlist on my spotify. the first song that comes up is 'ilusm' by gnash. i contemplate skipping it, but i like a few songs by gnash so i don't.
