*Kermit’s POV*

“Husky, where are you taking me?” I asked the slightly taller boy as he dragged me through the streets.

“I’ve found this parkour map that no one knows about and I thought we could do it together” He smirked at me, not letting go of my hand.  I groaned and pulled him to a halt, using all of my strength.  He was a strong Mudkip.

“Husky, you know I can’t parkour” I whined at him, begging him to let us go home.  He laughed.

“Yes, but I’ll be here to help you.  Plus you get golden apples all around the course, so you won’t die” My ears perked up at this.

“You mean the super duper golden apples?” I asked him, actually getting excited for the parkour.  He laughed at my excited expression.

“Yes, the super duper golden apples” He said, leaning in to kiss me.  I leaned up the close the gap quicker.  The kiss was short and sweet.  I wished we weren’t in public so I could take it further, but I couldn’t.  We broke apart and Husky flashed one more breath taking smile before he started pulling me down the pavement again.

We arrived at the parkour course and stood to the left at the start was a chest.  I opened it and it was filled to the brim with super golden apples.   I grinned and grabbed all but 1 stack.  Husky opened the chest after me.

“Kermit, did you take all the golden apples?” He asked me, suspiciously.  I shook my head, grinning.  I was so bad at a poker face.  Husky eyed me for a second then turned away to start the parkour.  I followed him, tripping on every other jump.  Husky was laughing as he nailed every jump and got to the first checkpoint in a matter of seconds.

“Husky, you said you would help me!” I yelled up to him while munching on an apple.  He grinned down at me.

“Yes, but that was before you took all of the golden apples” He said before continuing on with the parkour.  He didn’t even press the checkpoint, which would have left a stream of water for me to climb up.  I tried to do the first part a few more times before giving up and walking away.  I quickly found a nice tree next to a lake to sit at, so I did.  I took in the beauty of the landscape while waiting for Husky to finish the parkour.

He had no right to bring me here, he knew I hated parkour.  He should have taken Bodil, he was a parkour creator.  I’m sure he would have enjoyed it more than me.  Plus Husky seems to be making friends with Bodil.  He seems to be making friends with everyone but Matt.  So does Jerome. It’s just me who doesn’t seem to have any friends except Husky and Jerome.  And maybe Mitch, but I think Mitch is just being nice to me to prove a point that Hybrids were people as well.  I sighed and leaned back against the tree, thinking about how much my life had changed in a matter of weeks.  I never thought I would be living with humans, who actually accepted me.  I never even thought I would last a term at school, yet here I am, almost at the end of the first term and having no thoughts of moving back home.  Thinking about life and Husky I slowly fell into a peaceful sleep.

*Ian’s POV*

Mackenzie ran down the street away from me.  I laughed and chased her, catching up to her easily and grabbing her round the waist.  Behind us Bashur and Ashstar were laughing, while holding hands.  I put Mackenzie down and interlocked her fingers with mine.

“So, where are we going then?” Bashur asked us all.  We had decided to go on a double date, since me and Bash had got girlfriends around the same time.

“Let’s go to the park!” Mackenzie yelled, he blue eyes staring up into mine with that cute puppy dog look.  I looked behind me.  Bash and Ashstar were giving me the same look.  I crumbled.

“Okay, but only if we can go to get ice cream after” (A/N yes I know...ice cream in Minecraft...WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TO?!) They all laughed and agreed.  Mackenzie led us in the direction of the park.  All through the 15 minute walk we talked about everything.  School, ourselves, family, basically anything we could think of.

When we got to the park we went straight to the shade of the trees and sat down. I pulled Mackenzie onto my lap and kissed her forehead while wrapping my hands around her waist.  Ashstar awed and Bash giggled that annoying giggle, which still managed to make me giggle. I’m saying giggle too much now...giggle.

“What are you thinking about?” Ashstar asked me.  I realised I had been saying the word giggle to myself for five minutes while the rest of them talked.

“Oh, erm nothing” I said sheepishly and laughed.  Bash raised his eyebrows at me, but didn’t question it.  I rested my head against Mackenzie’s back and sighed, happily.

“So, what do you guys want to do; now we’re here?” Bash asked.  Notch, this guy was impatient.

“Let’s just talk” I said.  I was comfy and at peace sat here with my beautiful girlfriend on my lap and one of my new best friends with me.

After 15 minutes of just talking we got bored and decided to go for ice cream.  I ordered Mint choc chip, while everyone else went with boring vanilla.  We went and found some where to sit down, licking out ice creams before they started to melt.  I looked over to Mackenzie.

“Hey Mackenzie, you got some ice cream on your lip” I giggle to her, pointing to her new moustache.  She went to wipe it. “Nahh, I got it” I said cheekily and leant over to kiss her, making sure to wipe my tongue over her top lip.  She froze for a second and then kissed me back.  We broke apart and I looked down in her eyes. “I got it” I whispered.  We stared into each other’s eyes until an awkward cough from Bashur made us jump apart, guiltily.

Through that short, sweet kiss I realised something.  I was in love with this girl.
