Me, Emma Megan, Jess, and I are all sitting on a couch, sobbing.

It's 11:45, on Christmas Eve, and we're watching The Hunger Games.  Rue.... Rue.....

I burst into another fit of sobs as we watch Katniss sing to her, softly.  The girls cry with me, except for Cassidy, who is sitting on the couch, looking annoyed.

"I still don't get why you guys are so upset." She grumbles, focused on a bunch of articles Ms. Bailee had given her. We stare at her shocked and appalled that even Cassidy (Who is decked out in skinny jeans and a tight - fitting teal shirt, by the way,) could be so cold.

"She's just upset about the outfit." Megan whispers to me, and I snicker.

"I mean, it's a movie! It's not like it's based of of true events or anything! No need to go and have a heart attack."

I sigh and pause the movie.    "I've had enough of this for one night. I'm going to bed." The others chorus their agreement,  and we head up to bed

The next morning, all nine of us are gathered underneath the Sloane's Christmas tree. I notice Emma's leg bouncing up and and down like one of those springs in a door.
"What"s got YOU all excited, Em?" I ask and she gives me a cheeky smile.
"That's me to know and for you to find out." She says coyly and I roll my eyes.
"Ok!" Darcy starts. "I'll hand out my presents first!"
Darcy reaches into his Dartmouth backpack and surfaces with a small, blue wrapped present he hands to Jess.
All four girls look over Jess' shoulder as she opens the gift. We all gasp.
Inside was a small ring. It's silver band wrapped around and crossed over at the front, forming a heart, which had a small blue stone inside.
"It's a promise ring." Darcy says shyly. "It symbolizes my love for you...." His voice trails off, and Jess' eyes well up in tears.
"Darcy!" She exclaims. "It's beautiful!" She leans over and kisses him on the cheek, and his face turns bright red as he grins stupidly
Darcy gives me and Megan each a new makeup kit, Cassidy a hairbrush shaped like a hockey stick, which she rolls her eyes at dramatically, and Emma -
"A LIST OF SPOILERS?!" She crows. "HONESTLY DARCY?" He laughs.
"Merry Christmas, dear sister!" He replied cheerily.
Next, Theo goes. He has a blue, spandex jumpsuit for Tristan, (we told him about Freshman year,) a Manchester United soccer ball for Tristan, a book with real photos from World War II for Darcy, and.....
"Uh..... Here..." He says awkwardly, handing me a small, purple box.
Inside is a gold Alex and Ani bracelet. The charm is an intricate rose with 'love' written across it in cursive.
I smile at him. "Thank you, Theo." I say genuinely. He smiles, clearly relieved.
Up next is Megan. She gets me this teal infinity scarf I had been eying at the mall the other day, A girl's button - down Red Sox jersey for Cassidy, these really cool ceramic hair clips for Jess, and a digital camera for Simon.
"How do I use this?" He asks, scratching his head. Megan laughs. "You just push the dial
Back, and click the button." She explains, demonstrating for him. Simon blushes. "Thanks, Megs."He says. "No prob." She replies amiably.
"And now it's my turn to give YOU something." He continues cooly, handing Megan her gift. We all look confused, but she looks like the happiest girl in the world.
"These are fabric paints!" She exclaims. "They cost like, ten dollars a bottle!" She says, counting
Twelve paints. She grins, and hugs Simon. "Thank you, she says sincerely."
"Oh, and here's a bag of candy for each of you." He says. "I ran out of time-"
"Money," Tristan coughs, earning a glare from Simon."
"-to get you guys anything else." He continues. "Sorry...." He adds sheepishly.
Then it's my turn.  I honestly had no idea what to get everyone this year, so I went with
"Ski/snowboarding lessons?" Megan asks doubtfully. My smile wavers. "Yeah." I reply, defensive. "I went snowboarding with Dad when I was younger and we had a blast."
Everyone except Tristan and Cassidy look uncertain, and I frown. Maybe this was a bad idea?"
Finally Theo speaks up. "Great idea, Becca!" He says happily." I give him a grateful look.
"My turn!" Jess says in a sing-songy voice. I grin, and gesture for her to take the stage, as they say. (Lol that rhymed.)  She tosses each of us a bag. "I got Megan a plain white dress and fabric markers and dye, I got Becca an architectural design book, plus pencils, Emma a book of quotes with blank pages, so she can make her own, Cassidy doodle - on skates, and all the boys Wreck This Journals. They grin, clearly excited at the prospect of wrecking things.
"Me next!" Tristan calls out. He hands us all movie tickets for our local theatre. We all stare at him.
"What he asks innocently, discreetly handing a box to Cassidy. She takes it, and grins at its contents: a silver locket with a selfie of her and Tris at a hockey game together.
"Thank you." She mouthed to him, and turns to Emma.
"Last but not least..." She gestures. Emma gives us the same smile her mom does when she has something up her sleeve.
"Ok guys, open them." She says, tossing all of us a small box. Cassidy intercepts Jess' and finishes opening it first. She lets out a whoop, Megan a cheer, Theo a 'Nice!' And so on, until I finally get my little box and scramble to open it.
"Tickets to Six Flags New England?! I stare at Emma in amazement. She nods smugly, and I join in with the cheering.
After We've cleaned up the wrapping paper and gotten dressed, we all decide to catch a movie with tickets Tristan gave us.
"How does the Death Cure Part One sound - its based of this awesome book series I read!" The rest of us till our eyes but agree that this is a good choice. We head out, ready to spend the rest of our holly, jolly Christmas.

A/N: Sorry for the long wait, guys! I was at camp, but that's no excuse as to why it's been NEARLY TWO WEEKS SINCE I LAST UPDATED!!! I made this chapter over thousand words long to make up for it (1050!) and I'll try not to let it happen again, 'kay?
QOTC: What book did you last read?

A: I actually just finished Harry Potter And The Cursed Child. It was pretty good considering the fact that it's been like, 20 years since J.K. Rowling last published a Harry Potter book, and that it was written for a play.

Duces people!
