Hi guys! It's Kaylie!

I just logged onto this account out of curiosity and dayum.

I want to thank all of you for the wonderful support you have given Abducted. Although I tend to neglect this book (ok, let's be real, I hate this stage of my writing), I am so happy so many people have enjoyed it.

Seriously, some of your comments nearly brought me to tears.

I'm such a proud momma of this book right now.

Due to this, I want to write a bonus scene as a thank you. It has been two (going on three) years since I wrote this book, so hopefully I have improved.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this bonus scene.

My body jolted upright, terror seizing my veins. There was nothing but darkness before me. I reached up and touched my face, my shoulders, my body.

Well, I was all in one piece, at the very least.

"E-Emily?" I choked out, my voice hoarse from misuse, "Emily!"

Slowly, I reached throughout the darkness, trying to recognize my surroundings. Soft sheets, a lumpy pillow, a plastic bed-barrier Was I on a cot, perhaps?

Swinging my feet over the edge of the cot, I continued to feel around. Maybe two feet from my own cot was another. My hands made their way over the cot, empty, but warm.

Chills told me to go back to my cot and hide, but I swallowed my instinct and moved on.

I crawled over the empty cot and found another cot on the other side. I explored it, my hands running into something.

Something cold, soft, fleshy - a body.

I jumped away from the corpse, shaking with utter horror. I needed to leave.

"Anna," a calm voice called out, "I see your awake."

"Who is it?" I called, trying not to stutter.

"We can finally be together, just you and me - a perfect family," I gasped as someone held me from behind, "What do you say, sister?"

Ahh I hope you enjoyed it! This was originally planned while I was writing the book, but I was too lazy. Once again, thank you so so soo much for the wonderful support this book has gotten. It really means a lot to me.

With that being said, I'm going to zoom off to my more recent (more procrastinatey) account.

Thanks for reading ABDUCTED.
