BONNIE'S POV
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I froze. There was someone under my bed.
"Please," they said. Their voice was barely a distressed whisper.
"O-okay," I whispered. I lifted up the bed ruffle. There was a girl about Emily's age staring back at me with striking, saphirre blue eyes. I helped her out from under the bed. "I'm Bonnie," I said.
"Anna," the girl replied. She had messy short red hair that looked like a first grader cut it, a black chain with a small black wolf pendant, a white shirt that looked like it had been used to clean up a homicide, and shredded black jeans. She was awesome. "why are you here?" Anna asked me.
"Kidnapped," I said simply.
"Are you sure? Sam usually goes for older girls," she said. Sam?
"Who's Sam?" I asked.
"He is in charge of it all. He's coming over tomorrow," Anna said, locking my gaze to hers.
"What does he want?" I squeaked.
"Abuse," Anna replied, fear brimming in her eyes. She pulled up her shirt to reveal her stomach. It was so scarred I couldn't tell one scar from another. "He did this," she muttered. A gasp escaped my lips. The door creaked and Anna hid under the bed.
"Why are you up?" It was Derik.
"Couldn't sleep," my voice quavered with fear.
"Go to bed. I need you wide awake tomorrow." Derik said. I nodded and crawled back in bed.
EMILY'S POV
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I woke up with a start. I was panting. I had this crazy nightmare and, never mind, it was real. I sighed. Derik came in.
"Breakfast," he said. It looked disgusting, like it had been pulled out of a dumpster.
"Sorry, not hungry," I said. Derik glared a me. So, I glared back. He grabbed my chin and made me look at his face.
"Eat. It," he growled.
"No." I said. Derik slammed my head against the metal bedpost. Many times. When he was done, he had another creepy smile plastered to his face.
"Now, Emily, we don't want to hurt you, so eat up," his last two words were emphasised. By a lot. I put my free hand on his hand.
"Do you not understand no?" I hissed back. Now he was bashing my head into the wall. I looked at the wall when he stopped. There was a big blood splatter. Derik stroked my hair, streaking it with blood during the process.
"Jackson," he called. Jackson entered and seemed to understand immediatly. He ripped out his switchblade.
"Remember what happens when we don't follow the rules, Emily?" Jackson whispered. Derik pushed me down and Jackson pulled up my shirt. He dug his blade in my skin. I screamed as blood rushed from my body.
"You were a bad, bad girl, Emily," Derik said. Tears streaked my face. I put all my hatred into the glare I gave him. He smacked me.
"Please," I begged, "I promise, I'll behave!" The knife only went deeper.
"That's enough," a man said. The torture stopped. "Bandage her," the guy commanded. Derik kept me still as Jackson wrapped me in gauze. Then they left me with the guy who made the pain stop.
"W-who are you?" I whispered.
"Sam," he replied cooly, "but don't worry, Baby, I'll fix you up." I stared at the ceiling. Sam stroked my arm. It reminded me of my mom. It felt like hours went by, stroking, staring, stroking, staring. Finally, he said, "Look at me, Baby," I looked at him. I didn't mind that Sam called me Baby. Right now that was the least of my worries. Sam was drop-dead gorgous. He had silver eyes, perfect cheek-bones, and everything about him was, well, perfect. Sam brushed his cool lips against my forehead. "You'll be alright," he said.
A/N Do you guys like Sam? He will turn out to be what Anna had described, I promise. How was the violence though? I liked it... Of course I wrote it so, I'm suposed to like it. Ok, till the next update!
