Percy’s P.O.V
The elevator seemed to be going at the speed of a normal elevator; Chiron eventually got annoyed and hit the elevator so it descended at the normal speed. When the elevator reached the bottom I was the first to step across the line, it had been my first time on earth for five hundred years. I was pretty excited but I realized that my mom was dead, I wanted to see her. Eat some of her famous blue food but that died off hundreds of years ago. I ran out the doors and saw hovering cars, hologram advertisements but one really surprised me.

Blue like the sea In Memory of her great great grandson Perseus Jackson (1993-2013)
Oh, maybe it wasn’t her but I had to be sure. “Hey Chiron!” I call, staring up at my old camp instructor.
“Yes Captain Hurricane?” asked Chiron,
“If Sally Jackson is a relative of Percy’s I would like to see her…” I state, Chiron looked bewildered.
“Why does this Captain Hurricane care so much… It isn’t normal.” Chiron thought.
“I just want to see how his family has carried out, he was such a nice boy,” I say, letting my eyes stare into him. Chiron looked confused like he recognized my glare, the problem was… he did.
“Ok, just Iris Message her to see her. Then you can use a pay phone to arrange a meeting.” Chiron tells me, wheeling off in his ‘wheelchair’ I walked up to the fountain with hope that I thought was unrealistic.
“Oh Iris, goddess of the Rainbow, please accept my offering, Show me Sally Jackson at Sally Jackson’s Blue Pancakes.” I tell the rainbow throwing in a golden drachma. I look in and I see Sally Jackson, but it wasn’t my Great great grandmother it was my mother. I gasped and cut the connection before she noticed. “Chiron???” I yelled.
“Yes Captain Hurricane,” Chiron replied.
“When I looked I did not see Percy’s great great grandmother I saw his MOTHER.” I yelled at him.
“How would you know?” Chiron asked me accusingly.
“I have photos,” I state, pulling out pictures of me and my mom on several occasions. “He gave them to me, I miss him so much!” I cry, and I can feel tears rolling out of my eyes. Chiron looked at me with sympathy.
“Perseus’s great great grandmother would love these, you should call her.” Chiron says, pointing me towards a free telephone. I looked at it and immediately knew what it was. It was an I Phone 5, people probably thought it was antique but I would have no problem using it. People passing me looked at me in awe as I used the phone perfectly.
Some girls laughed at me when they heard me mutter “Stupid modern day technology,” I mean it does make sense, this stuff was AINCIENT to them and most of them had problems using it because it was too old. I was almost tempted to hand someone a flip phone and see their reaction but I was on a time schedule. I called her and arranged a meeting, it was in ten minutes and I knew where it was. It was the same old apartment building that I grew up in. I passed buildings that were new and shiny and bright but in the middle the same EXACT building was standing where it should be. My heart grew when I saw it, maybe this really was my mom. I knocked on the door and I was greeted by her warm smile.
