Tricking End

Percy's P.O.V

I cant believe I trusted him, he's just like they are! They seem trusting and loyal and you think things will be good forever but the cold hard reality of it all is the fact that everything isn't as it seems. I know that I should probably have calmed down because when i'm angry the entire place knows, cause... I tend to shake things... a lot. On the bright side, the building didnt fall down. Can I get a round of applause? Actually, the building probably would have fallen down if Zainab hadnt caught on and chased after me. She yelled hurricane a few times until she snapped. "PERSEUS JACKSON, STOP RIGHT THERE!" I froze, Zainab was not the person you wanted to mess with. When Zainab had caught up to me with everyone else instead of the look of anger I was expecting she had a worried expression.

"Percy is everything ok?" asked Yu.

"Of course it is? Does something seem wrong?" I replied.

I guess they saw right through it because the Thalia slapped me and said "Of course it does kelp head! You're gonna make the building fall to pieces, as if we would believe that nothing was wrong! You need to come to us when something is wrong, you cant just keep everything to yourself, we're your friends! We'll always be here for you!" I looked at her in shock, she had never yelled at me like that before. Especially in that matter. "I just dont want you guys to worry! I'm just a guy who cant find a home! I'm not worth it!" I yelled, turning around to leave but someone had already grabbed my collar.

"What's going on Percy?" asked Hazel, "You cant keep this inside forever! All you're going to do it hurt yourself! Can't you see we're worried about you? All you need to do it let us in," I sighed, they were my friends, the people who stayed with me when others didnt. The only people I can trust.

"We cant talk here, lets go to my room and talk," I brought them back to my room and we all took a seat.

"All right man, it's time for you to tell us exactly whats going on," said Jason.

"All right, so the first thing is about Althea... she's dead" I explained, they looked at me with shocked expressions.

"She cant be dead, I saw her an hour ago and she looked perfectly fine." said Nico.

"You probably did but that's because End took over her body. I dont know how, or why. I just know what I saw." I replied, they all looked at me astonished.

"He took over her body?" asked Frank.

"How did that happen?" asked Jason.

"I dont know, alright? I'm as shocked as you were but I do know that whatever End has done to Chaos, it's effecting him and his decisions." I replied.

"Are you sure Perce?" asked Leo

"Absolutley, if you all dont believe me thats fine. No one else seems too, so I won't blame you." Replied Percy.

"Don't be ridiculous! We have no reason not to trust you. You're our best friend, why would you lie? We've all known you long enough to know that you would never lie to us." stated Thalia. I smiled up at her, she could always tell when someone was lying. She was amazing at everything, especially at being a friend. We may have had our parent quarrels in the past but that's behind us now," 

"Ok, but now we have the second problem to address... what are we going to do about it?" I asked, my friends thought for a second. Convincing chaos was out of the question, End would just tell him that I had convinced them into thinking that. He'd probably believe it as well. 

"We could always sabotage End," suggested Nico.

"Well, I dont know. We don't really know how powerful End is, he's supposed to be the evil equivilent to Chaos so I don't know that we have a chance" I replied, Nico shook his head in understanding.

"Why don't we lay low for a while and hope that End buys our little trick?" asked Hazel.

"That's the only way that's safe enough not to get us thrown out or hunted down, so I'd say we go with that" I said.

"You're the first in command," replied Thalia, I smiled again... no matter what happened these people will always be there for me. We walked out and passed 'Althea' in which we all smiled and waved to her. She looked a little shocked but she smiled back and waved. 

She stopped, turning around and saying, "Percy, can I talk to you for a a second?" I mentally sighed, End was going to try and convince me that he was Althea. I guess i'll have to play along.

"Yes Althea?" I asked, walking over to her.

"I know you overheard what I said yesterday and i'm sorry. You know that Chaos would never cast you out. What I said was uncalled for and out of line. I hope you can forgive me." she said.

"Of course, as long as you didnt mean it then its cool. My dad chose you for a reason, and I'm going to choose to trust him on this one. I hope we can get along better in the future." I said, I felt like gagging. I just had to make myself remember that nothing i'm saying to her is true. She smiled and nodded, walking away. Hopefully our act is playing out, she seemed pretty confident so, maybe this will work.

"Perce, come back over here! I wanna talk to you about the situation at camp half-blood" called Thalia.

"Coming!" I called back, walking back over to them.

"So what are we going to do about the camp almost finding out?" asked Hazel.

"We act normal, that's what we are going to do here and there. We can't afford to draw any more attention to ourselves then we already have. Try to stay away from people we used to know, if you do run into one, act as normal as possible. Most of all, make sure End doesnt find out we know about his plan." I explained, everyone nodded and went off in their own direction. This was definitley going to be interesting.
