Yijung Pov

Did he just shout at me?

Yeah sure, in the past we argued a lot but ever since we started dating, he never once got angry or even shouted at me. I'm a bit surprised about how he acted.

I couldn't remember doing anything wrong. Or did i say something not good? Nothing.

So why is he pissed off?

"Jaehyun-ah. What's wrong?" I asked worriedly.

"N-Nothing. I'm sorry."

"Are you okay? Do you want to sit somewhere and rest for a bit?"

"No. I can handle myself. Go find grandma and taeil hyung. They have been looking for you." He then left me.

What is wrong with him? I wanted to follow him but i guess he needed to be alone for awhile. I just sighed.

I then went to grandma and oppa. They were talking to some businessmen. I hated to butt in in their conversation so i decided to go out of the hall and get some air. It's kinda stuffy inside.

I walked outside and sat on a bench in a garden. I opened my phone and checked my account on an SNS.

"I love you!!"

What was that? I suddenly heard a shout from somewhere. Was that a confession? I scoffed. What an odd place to confess.

"I still love you!"

Why the hell is she shouting? My curiosity bothered me so i went to check out where the voice came from. I peeked through the bushes, and saw the silhouette of the guy. I walked closer and when i got into a good position to see clearly, the girl suddenly kissed the guy on the lips.

Omo!

That was so sudden. She is so aggressive. I scoffed again. The guy tried to push the girl away but the girl held unto his neck firmly.

Then the guy moved his head and i caught a glimpse of the guy's face.

Wait.

Is that..

He slowly pushed the girl and she finally let go of him.

"I'm sorry." He said.

I suddenly felt a pinch in my chest. I feel pained.

"But why?" The girl started crying.

"I already like someone else." He replied.

"Who?!" She yelled angrily.

"You dont have to know."

The girl then ran away. I tried to sneak away too but my heels got stuck on the ground.

Shit. Why is this happening?

I grunted as i pulled my shoes above the ground. I was in a hurry.

Then suddenly, someone came and pulled my shoes for me. I looked up and saw Mark.

Did.. Did he see me?

"Here." He lent his hand to me and helped me get up. He then knelt down and held my foot. He thrusted my foot into my shoe. He looked up to me and he smiled.

What was that?

He stood back up and placed his hands in his pocket. He made a big sigh. He smiled again at me.

"You heard everything? I mean, you've seen everything?" He asked.

"Eh? Ye. I mean, no. Y-Ye, not all. N-Not really." I stuttered.

He just laughed.

"That girl is my ex-girlfriend from New York. She even followed me here." He smiled sadly. "I broke up with her before i came back here. And besides, i'm already interested at someone else." He said.

"A-Are you okay? I mean, will she be okay?" I asked.

"Dont worry. She'll be fine." He said. "It's chilling here." He took off his coat and he covered my back with it. "Shall we go inside?" He said.

"O-Eo." I replied.
