Chapter 24

Yijung Pov

After we ate, eunjoo and i went back to the university. Before we could enter the gate, i was surprised to see jaehyun waiting, leaning back at his car with his hands crossed.

I immediately went to him.

"Jae-Jaehyun?" I said as soon as i got to him. "What are you doing here?"

He refrained from crossing his arms and he smiled at me.

"Do i need any reason to see my girl friend?"

My eyes widened. Well, he do have a point. I wont need any reason either if i wanted to see him too. People starts to recognize him although he's wearing shades. Others peeked at his face every time they pass by him.

"Oh, Eunjooya!" He waved at eunjoo behind me.

"Annyeong haseyo." She said as she bowed her head.

"Dont be so formal. We're friends." Jaehyun said.

"Ah, ye." She smiled. "Anyway, i'll head back first. Yijung-ah, i'll wait for you in the class room."

"Kurae. See you later then." I said.

"Jaehyun, i'll go ahead. Take care."

"Ye. You too." Jaehyun said. Eunjoo went inside the university.

"Isn't that jaehyun?" I heard whispers.

"Majayo. It's him. But who is that girl?"

"Isn't she a student from our school? Look at that ID."

"Could it be that she's his girl friend?"

"Shall we go somewhere? Coming here might be a bad idea." Jaehyun said.

He then opened the door on his front seat and i got in his car. I can hear girls screaming.

Before he got in the driver's seat, he waved at the crowd and smiled.

"Was that necessary?" I asked.

"Waaah, my yijung is jealous." He then pinched my cheeks. "Just a little fan service."

I pouted.

He started to drive. I dont know where he's headed.

"So.." I glanced at the backseat of his car and saw a big bag. "Ya, what's with the big bag?"

"Aah, that? I'll be having a week-long seminar. So i wont be back until then." He said.

"Why didn't you tell me sooner?"

"I was about to tell you a few days ago. But you see, we had an argument and i forgot to tell you."

I let out a sigh.

"Look, I'm sorry. It really slipped out of my mind."

"So you came here to say goodbye to me and here i thought you missed me."

"I miss you. I really do."

I felt bad. I shouldnt act like this when it was all my fault that we fought the other day.

"So where is this seminar?" I asked.

"It's at Masan."

"That's far." I said.

"Yeah. But one of the sponsors for the seminar had a property at Masan so they decided to hold the seminar there."

"I see." He stopped the car at the fort of the bay nearby.

"Dont worry. It will only take a week. By that time, take your time missing me." He said as he smiled at me.

"Ya, it's only a week dont be too cocky." I said.

"Really? Only a week? On-ly-a-week?" He teased.

"O-Eo."

"Then, can i stay there for another week?"

"No!"

He then laughed. He's making fun of me again. I then chuckled. What am i even doing acting so childish?

"Dont worry. It's work. You can stay there as long as you have to. I will also do my best to study here." I said.

"Waaah, my girl friend is so understanding." He then held my hand.

"I'll be back. I will call you everyday."

"Arasseo. Just take good care of your self there."

"Yes maam." He gripped my hands and he leaned towards me. I closed my eyes and his lips touched my lips. We kissed passionately. I held his shirt under is arms and he held both sides of my cheeks.

He then let go of me.

"We better head back now. You'll be late in class."

"Ne. We should head back now." I said. He then gave me a last peck on my forehead.

It's just a week. It will fly by easily. I just wish he'll take care of himself.
