12 - The Rivals Meet

Marinette was very happy to be friends with Adrien again. She didn't love him anymore, she loved someone else. When she went out with Adrien, she didn't blush or stammer. Now, Marinette really saw him as a friend. She expected that the next day would be normal. But what she didn't expect were two visits from her favorite boys at the same time.

Marinette was drawing new designs and she heard a knock. She smiled to herself and told Tikki to hide, the kwami obeyed. She quickly opened the door and saw Foxy there, smiling with a bouquet of pink roses; one of her favourites. She remembered that he also brought her pink roses the last time. She likes pink roses and pink mallows. She greeted him in and closed her balcony.

"Thanks for the roses Foxy" Marinette thanked, smelling the beautiful bouquet of flowers her Foxy brought her. She put them in a glass with water.

"No problem Cupcake" FireFox said, with a grin on his face. He got closer to her, grabbed her neck and pulled her head gently towards his. They were both closing their eyes to make contact, when a knock was heard. Marinette abruptly pulled back.

"So-sorry, better see who it is" she said, blushing and a little dizzy. She almost kissed Foxy! She would have liked it, but at the same time not. She liked FireFox, but she also liked Chat. While she was walking to the balcony, she heard a groan coming from FireFox, and a murmur. She didn't listen to it well... but she heard an 'Almost'. She went out of her mind and opened the door. She froze. She saw Chat Noir, standing there with a bouquet of pink mallows.

This couldn't be happening... her two crushes were about to see each other. She had to explain everything, but she stood there, watching Chat.

"Hey Princess, everything alright? I brought you this, I suspected they were your favourites" he said, extending the flowers to Marinette. She quickly reacted and grabbed the flowers. She smelled them and sighed.

"Thanks Chat, and everything's ok. No need to worry" Marinette said, smiling to Chat Noir; who seemed to be excited. She greeted him in and Chat kissed her hand, he stopped when he saw FireFox standing there; with wide eyes. Marinette started to walk back as the superheroes walked towards to each other. FireFox and Chat Noir were looking at each other's eyes. Then they said at the same time,

"Cupcake, what is he doing here?"
"Princess, what is he doing here?"

This time they crossed their arms and looked at Marinette, who was blushing in a shock. She was in trouble, big trouble. What was she going to say? She could only tell the truth.

"Listen guys, the night Chat invited me, Foxy also invited me... and since I didn't want to break anyone's heart, I accepted both invitations" Marinette explained, and she felt relieved, a weight had been taken out of her back. Now she had to wait to see what they would say.

"You accepted both invitations, right? But you must prefer one of us instead of the other one" FireFox said and he got closer to Marinette "And that's me".

"What are you talking about? Of course she prefers me!" Chat said and got closer to Marinette as well. They two boys started with the fight of the 'No, me!' with Mari in the middle. She couldn't handle it anymore.

"Stop, both of you!" Marinette screamed. The superheroes looked at her, and then sat down in a chair.
"This is hard for me, okay? So make it easy, please. I still didn't make a decision, but I will. It will take time though.... one of you is cute and the other one is charming" she continued "I'll bring some juice, stay here" said Marinette and went down stairs.

"Why did you ask her on a date, cat? You love Ladybug" said FireFox and Chat answered "Well, I told her and she rejected me. I looked for comfort, and Marinette was the purrfect choice; and I ended falling, purroblem fox?".

"I bet you don't even know her in real life, at least-" FireFox said alone, and Chat said with him "I'm in her class!".
They starred at each, with hate in their eyes. Chat wanted to punch him in the face, he was veeeeeeeery veeeeeery jealous and angry. FireFox wanted to make an illusion of Marinette kissing him, but just in that moment; Marinette entered.

"Everything ok?" asked Marinette. She noticed how they were looking at each other, with hate. What happened while she was downstairs?

"Yes, everything alright Cupcake, right Chat?" said FireFox, trying to act normal.

"Right FireFox, no need to worry, Princess" Chat answered.

Marinette placed the cups on her desk and sighed. She stood there watching how Chat and Foxy drank their juice. FireFox finished and left the cup on the table. Chat was still drinking and Foxy lost himself. He stood up, and got closer to Marinette. Chat spilled his juice, Marinette just stood there, frozen.

FireFox kissed her.
