Chapter 13: Expect The Unexpected

"Keep your guard up, don't slouch. Focus on your target... No this is a one on one match, focus on me." I said cupping his face in my hands forcing him to just look at me, I was helping him train like I promise. He's become good with the gear but he still couldn't wield a blade right. I stepped back away, "Come at me with the training I taught you, don't hold back." I state giving him a glare.

"Got it..." Kyle said coming at me, he used his wires to shoot towards me pulling out his blades. I pulled mines out and jumped in the air spinning like a tornado, I came down hard knocking him off balance.

He ran into the wall and landed on the ground, I sighed, "come on Kyle, if you know your target is stronger than you it's not good to charge right in. You won't win like that unless you have stratagy." I said folding my arms.

He rubs his head then said, "but you do that all the time, there were a lot of people stronger than you but you managed to take down... " He pouts looking down, "I'm just trying to be like you..."

"No!" I shout, he looked at me confused so I sighed, I don't want you to be like me... I want you to be better.. "Don't be like me, you have to be yourself. And I had a team of my friends to help me, I don't have a squad of my own by the way. I work where I'm needed"

He smiles, "cool, so you're a freelancer?" He asked sitting down.

"Freelancer?... No... Yes.. I don't know, I'll have to ask Erwin. But why are you sitting? We're in the middle of training" I say frowning.

"You're a great teacher Captain, helping me train after I get done with training with my other comrades, I find it great spending time with you" he says smiling.

I blushed clearing my throat, "yea... But when it comes to a time you would have to fight titans I want you to be repair."

He chuckled, "you sound like a overprotective mother"

I lift a brow pouted, "I'm married not a mother..."

He stood up and walked over to me, "I'm still can't believe Ananda Waiters married humanity's strongest... How did that all started?" He asked very interested.

I smirked and pointed up, "remember I told you we sometimes watch your practice from above? Well he was watching mine so I looked up at him and gave him a smiled, that kinda set everything in motion. We started seeing a lot of each other since then, it was just luck he liked me back."

Kyle tilt his head, "luck?"

I nodded, "if I never confess my feelings for him he wouldn't have even gave me the slightest hint he liked me." I shrugged, "honestly if he haven't I would have been with someone else really"

He looked surprised then asked, "who? Was it one of the other 104th trainees?"

I nodded and put my blades up whispering in his ear, "Eren Jaeger..."

"Go for it." I say placing my hands on my hips.

"You two have very similar personalities, and you tend to be hanging around with each other. You both share the same perspective on titans right?" I nod, "and you both got a hot temper"

"You both seem happy to be around each other too, I would have actually thought you would've been with him really." He laughed.
