Chapter 15: The Truth Can Hurt

"We can't keep having these little chats Reiner." Ananda tells him folding her arms.

He lifts a brow, "come on you're easy to talk to." He tells her, it's been two months since they brought Reiner in. He's just been refusing to discuss his and Bertholdt's plans by just chatting with her.

She frowns, "tell me why hasn't Bertholdt hasn't made a single attack since you've been here? Where is he? What are you guys planning?" She asked getting impatient by him.

He smirks grabbing the bars leaning in closer, "looks like someone's getting mad"

"That someone isn't afraid to take your limbs again and a few extra's..." She threatens.

"Then I'll just change into a titan" he tells her.

"If I can beat you without changing into a titan you don't want to face me when I change into a titan." She growls.

He then realized something he didn't noticed before, "that's Annie's hoodie." He says now paying attention to it, "where did you get it? The only thing she ever shared with someone was Ananda..." He clenched his fist, "did you take that out of her grave room?!" He shouts now getting furious.

She lift a brow, "you get your answers when I get mine.."

She begins to walk away but Reiner shouts, "if you don't tell me I'll change into a titan right now and kill you!" She stops in her tracks should I tell him I'm alive? She thinks, he won't tell me nothing now unless I tell him the truth...

She glance back and said coldly, "this room is right above Ananda's room... Unless you want to see her corpse scattered everywhere go ahead! You are the one who killed her anyways.."

She exit the room seeing Eren, "you should rest... You're stressing" she sighs but smiles at Eren who's been acting super caring ever since she told him, he places a hand on her belly and says, "I can't wait for the baby to be born, it's going to be as beautiful as you.." He tells her smirking.

She laughs slightly, "you can hold them once they're born." She tells him lifting a brow.

"I plan too, I'm going to be there when it happens" he tells her, then he felt something. They both looked confused as they stare down at her belly which was bigger than before, she had a little bump, "did you feel that?" he asked.

She nods, "the baby's kicking Eren" his eyes widen as he crouches down to stare at her belly.

"Hey I'm your uncle Eren, me and you are going to get along great little buddy!" He says excitedly.

She laughs, "keep it down before, someone hears you say that." She tells him while walking down the steps.

He follows her and said, "nobody going to hear me up here!"

She nods, "Reiner and those two guards can"

He frowns once he heard the name Reiner, "whatever! He hears, he hears! It's his fault for betraying us, Bertholdt too!" Once he began ranting about how much he despises them Ananda frowned pounded it. She was angry at Reiner for going back on his word and not doing anything about... All he did was fled the scene... She looked down. But she could never think of Bertholdt being the reason her mother and baby sister is dead, she wouldn't even consider that. It was keeping her from the truth, Reiner and Bertholdt were her closes and first real friends... They cared for her.. Protected her... Played with her.. Everything she could ever want friends to do for each other, all she wants really is for them never to able to turn into titans so this would have never happened even Annie... She wanted her family back and all the lives that was taken avenged, but she can't if she can't bring herself to actually want to kill them... Not out of anger or sadness but for the sake of humanity... She felt sick to her stomach again so she covered her mouth, and took off running for the closest restroom. When she got there she puked as she was puking she hear a knock at the door, "Ananda? Are you okay?!" They asked, but she doesn't answer. Eren bit his bottom lip and passed back and forth as he hears her vomit in the restroom, "this is the third time today.." He says softly.
