Chapter 17 ~ Follow My Lead!

~ Chapter 17 ~

"Don't worry Donnie, April will forgive you." Said Leo.

I stood up. "Wait, she's mad again," I asked. "What did you guys do this time?!"

"She started pestering me about her dad again and I told her there is probably no cure for him." Said Donnie.

I sighed. "Donnie, you never tell April the truth! She'll just get mad!"

"Yeah, I kind of figured that out."

Leo looked through some boxes and sighed. "I can't believe Bekka didn't want to come with."

I raised my eyebrow at him. "Really? I would doubt she wants anything to do with the Kraang from after last night. And anyways, Splinter is teaching her to be a Kunoich now."

Leo sighed again. "But still..."

Mikey popped out of the dumpster he was looking in with a lizard in a top hat and bow tie. "Look what I found guys!" He started messing around with it.

Raph went up to him and whapped him. "You do know that could be a distant cousin of ours?"

Mikey's eyes widened and he chucked the lizard and hopped out.

Donnie's mutagen finder started lighting up and buzzing.

"This way guys!" He said and started running.

"I swear that thing looks like a jacked up kitchen untensil." I muttered to Raph. He nodded in agreement.

We hopped up on a building and started searching.

"Hey, I found it!" Said Mikey as he held up a canister proudly.

We all walked over to him. Mikey started dancing around with it.

"Do you guys know how many we collected now?!" Asked Donnie excidedly.

I crossed my arms. "One?"

"One and a half!"

Mikey started tossing it in the air and thats when Donnie swipped it from him.

"Come on guys. Lets go." Said Leo.

We started jumping away but I heard a slash. I looked over my shoulder and saw one of those small chimmines were cut in half.

I frowned and looked around. No one was there. I shrugged and ran to catch up.

We hopped off a billboard and started searching again. Mikey stayed on the ladder and then hung himself upside down.

"Do you guys know how boooored I am?" He asked. But he didn't wait for us to awnser. I doubt any of us would have any ways.

"I am so bored that I could scream!" He thought about that for a moment. He started swaying side to side. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

We all came by him and shushed him.

"Okay, okay. We can play a game!" Said Leo.

We all cheered. We were all bored like Mikey.

"Were are going to do a.......practice drill!" Said Lep excitedly. We all groaned.

"Really Leo? Why can't we do something fun?" Complained Raph. I nodded in agreement.

"Splinter told me I have to train you. So I will."

"I think Sensi ment when we were at the LAIR." I said.
