I stared at the ceiling of their lair. Mutants. Powers. None of it made sense.

I remembered how that guy in the blue mask, Leo, was so hurt. And yet I felt like I should know him.....TCRI! I heard him talk at TCRI. His voice sounded so soft and vibreant. Wait. What am I saying?!

I looked over at Nick, who was talking to Raph. Did she like him? They were obviously a perfect match. Both hot-head meat lovers.

I wondered why the Kraang would be after me. They had hundreds of canisters. Did I take an important one? Who knows. My mom is a scientist, maybe she'll figure it out. Mom. Oh, jeez!

I bolted up. "Who has a phone I can use?!"

Nick looked at me. "I do, well, we all do but here catch!" She tossed me something that looked like a turtle shell.

"Is this a turtle's shell?" I asked.

Nick smiled. "No its a T-Phone, Donnie made it."

"Uh, okay." Nick showed me how to use it and I dialed my mom's cell.

"Scientist Mary speaking. How may I help you?" Awnsered my mom.

"Mom, its me, Bekka. Don't freak if dad calls saying I'm missing. I, er, at a friends house working on homework. Kay?"

I heard my mom sigh. "Bekka...okay. I don't care but you should've called your father first and then me. But okay, love you, bye."

"Bye!" I hung up and handed it back to Nick.

She looked at me. "Whats it like?" She asked.

"Whats what like?"

"You know, having a mom and a dad?"

I shrugged. "I guess their like friends that boss you around and make you do chores."

"Bekka?! Whats she doing here?!" Said a voice.

Nick raised her hands in surrender. "Not my fault! Kraang attacked her and I didn't want to just let her walk home by herself!"

April crossed her arms and stared at Nick. Finally she just sighed and sat down by me.

"Did you faint like Nick did?" She whispered.

I smiled and looked at Nick. "You fainted when you first met them?"

Nick blushed. "Hey, I was exausted from fighging." She said.

"Yeah, and then you fainted." Said April.

"Can it, O'Neil." Grumbled Nick.

"April?! April's here?!" Said a voice. I turned and saw a tall turtle with brown eyes and a purple bandana standing in a door. He took a step forward and tripped. He face planted on the floor.

Nick laughed. "Donnie, you are aware you have two feet. Right?" She said.

We all bursted out laughing. Donnie stood back up and managed a embaressed smile.

Donnie notice me. "Who is she?"

I crossed my arms. "She has a name." I said.

"Donnie this is Bekka, Bekka this is Donnie." Said April.

I waved to Donnie. "Nice to meet ya." I said.

"Like wise." He said back.

"No fair! You said hi to him but no me?!" Complained Mikey.
