The next day, Beau accompanied Bella to Jacob's once again.

The young boy had finished one motorcycle already and was beginning to work on the one that was deemed  "Beau's"  now. Beau had no idea how the boy worked so fast, but since he had never been one to know how cars or motorcycles worked, he wasn't going to ask.

After his run-in with Sam in the kitchen yesterday, Beau had spent the rest of the day in the garage with Bella and Jacob. Well, until two of Jacob's friends had joined them.

Embry and Quil were lanky russet skinned boys with wide smiles and different attitudes compared to each other and also Jacob. Beau found that he liked both of them, not minding their presence, but that he preferred Jacob's more.

He and Bella had left that night without anymore run-ins with Sam or Billy. It was his plan to keep it that way, that had Beau startled when Sam himself was waiting on the front porch of the Black house. The bands of muscle in his arms were stretched as his arms were crossed over his chest and his expression was void.

"Is he waiting for you?" Bella asked, cutting off the engine.

"I think so," Beau replied, studying Sam's facial expression.

The other boy had been adamant that they would just forget what happened that night that Bella went missing; which led to the question of why Sam was suddenly having a change of heart.

"Be careful," Bella warned softly, trailing her own eyes away from Sam's face. "I heard from Jacob that he's bad news. Runs a gang or something."

"A gang?" Beau snorted, a smile tugging on the corners of his lips.

Bella frowned at his response to her words. "I'm serious. Just be careful,"

"Yeah, yeah," Beau muttered, popping open the door of the cab and jumping down onto the dry ground of the Black's front yard. Bella was quick to do the same, giving him another meaningful look over her shoulder before moving in the direction towards Jacob's shed.

Once they were alone, Beau made his way towards Sam. The other male met him halfway, and Beau had to blink away the shadow of a wolf on Sam's face.

"You saw it again, didn't you?" Sam asked, lips pulled into a smirk.

Startling at the question, Beau frowned. "Saw what?"

"The wolf," Sam replied, brown eyes intense. "What does it look like?"

"I don't know what you're talking about," Beau snapped, heart hammering roughly in his chest. "Now why are you waiting for me?"

"You're mouth says you don't know what I'm talking about, but your heat says another thing entirely," Sam replied, ignoring the last bit of Beau's response. "Care to tell me why you're lying?"

"I don't know what you're talking about," Beau replied again, adding more definition to the words in case Sam hadn't heard them before.

"Is that why you hung out with the Cullens?" Sam asked, raising a black eyebrow. "Did they use you in order for you to tell them everyone's dirty little secrets?"

Frowning deeply, Beau felt his heart clench over the name 'Cullen'.  "I don't know anything about anyone. Even if the Cullens had wanted my help, what is it to you?"

Sam smirked wider, "The Cullens and I go way back,"

Rolling his eyes, Beau tried to move in order to head towards Jacob's garage. "Good. Then track them down and find the answers out for yourself. Stop harassing me,"

A firm grip landed onto Beau's arm before he could get more than a step away. "They say people like you have the Sight."

Turning to look at the other male, Beau couldn't keep the look of curiosity off his face. Judging but Sam's expression, he knew that he had Beau's attention now. Sam continued, "They ones who see everything but say nothing,"
