Luke's Point Of View

My eyes open, I groan and got up. Okay, Chelsea is missing and the house is quiet. It's 10am.. Dang it. I walk down the stairs to use to bathroom, I turn the knob but it's kinda of lock. "Erm, someone in there?" I asks, awkwardly. "Just a second," I heard Chelsea sniff, she sounded like she was crying..

"Chelsea, are you okay?" I asks, my eyebrows furrowed. "Yeah, I'm fine," she replies in a clear voice, the door open. "There's a toothbrush that's on the sink, it's yours," she says, her hair falling over her face. She looks like a mess, she quickly runs up the stairs.

Okay, she's totally a dork. But she looks very different with her hair down. She's looks very pretty. I'm just saying. Not saying like I like, like her or anything.

I meet the other lads in the diner with Chelsea and she seems a little bit.. Distracted. She drop 2 plates when she was washing it. And now she's cleaning the same counter, over and over again. "Hey Chels, you look different today," Lea says, looking at her. Chelsea lost her rubber band this morning.

Chelsea didn't reply to Lea, Lea look at her. "Chelsea, are you okay?" Calum asks, his eyebrows furrowed. "Chelsea?" I raised my eyebrows as she didn't reply. "Chelsea!" Lea screams, yikes. "Huh?" Chelsea drop the cloth on the floor, "what the heck is wrong with with you?" she asks, raising her eyebrows. "Sweetie, you don't have to work if you want," Granny says, taking the cloth from her.

She sighs and joins us. "Hey Chelsea, how about we go out today?" Calum asks, you kidding me? "Where can we go when it's snowing outside?" Lea asks, "erm, maybe we can go.. To the carnival," Ashton suggested, "I just hope winter will be over soon," Lea mumbles as we got up.

"Hey Luke, it's the kissing booth," Chelsea pointed, chuckling. "Are you having a fever?" I asks, sarcastically. "Maybe you can hit on her," she says, seriously? "She's making kissy faces at you," she stated, I look at the kissing booth. I smiled at the red-head, "come on," I say, going over to the darts stall.

"Where the others go?" she asks, looking around as I throw darts. "Lea said we can hook up," I replied, laughing. "You win a prize!" The lady shouted, giving me a teddy bear. A very cute teddy bear. We walk away, "hey Chelsea, keep this," I say, passing it to her. "Why?" she asks, raising her eyebrows. "Because it will protect you from this octopus ride," I smirk, she chuckles.

"Don't need it," she smiled as we line up, "are you sure?" I asks, raising my right brow and smiling. We got into the seat and I pull the bar down. The ride begin slow till it went up and down and it spins around. But Chelsea isn't scared at all, she's laughing her head off.

We went on the Ferris wheel as it is getting darker. Chelsea won a small Sydney keychain and that's it. The Ferris wheel begin, "so.. Why are you so distracted today?" I asks, looking at her. "Erm.. Just things," she replied, lying. I let out soft sigh, "Chelsea, tell me the truth," I say, she gasps and her eyes widen.

"That's Daniel," she pointed down, Daniel.. Daniel.. Oh there he is. He's kissing another girl? She groans, "I knew it," she mumbles, running her hand through her brown hair. "Damn all boys," she muttered under her breath, "I heard that," I say in a dull tone.

"Chelsea, you didn't like him anyway," I say, "so you can break up with him later," I added, quickly. The ride came to a jerk, it's over already? We got out, "now go over and break up with him," I say, "what? I can't," she stated. "Where is the brave, crazy and dorky Chelsea I know?" I asks, trying to encourage her.

She shrugs and we went over to Daniel. "Hi Daniel," she started off, smiling innocent. "Oh, babe.. What are you doing here?" Daniel asks, nervously. "Well, I was suppose to work but I'm not, you're here cheating on me," she snaps, oh she's angry.. "You seriously don't know how to treat a girl," I say, "oh my god, you're Luke From 5 Seconds of Summer," the girl beside Daniel says.

I smiled slightly, "hey Luke, I'm going home," she says, turning away. I grab her wrist, "ouch, Luke, that hurts," she whisper out. I quickly let go of her, "Chelsea, we need to talk about you," I say, putting my arm around her shoulder.

We sit at a café near a pier and the sun is setting down which looks we're on a date.. Clearly there's something wrong with me. "So Chelsea, you want to tell me why are you so distracted about?" I asks, raising my eyebrows. "Please, don't tell anyone," she says, looking at me with her grey eyes.

I nodded, "er, yesterday when we got back from camp, my Dad flew over and he kinda of hit me because I was being rude to him and then I got hit by some gang that was in our school," she says, shrugging. "I know there's more than that," I say, looking at her. "Luke, I can't tell you that," she defended, I raised my left eyebrow. "Why?" I asks, curiously. "Because you will laugh like everyone will," she replied with tears in her eyes.

"I promise I won't laugh," I say, she keeps quiet. She pull up her sleeves, "I cut," she muttered. What. This isn't the Chelsea I know who is crazy and happy.. All the time.. "Can you stand up for a while?" I asks, standing up. She stood up and I put my arms around her waist. "Chelsea, don't do that," I say, hugging her tighter. "I did it for years," she whispered out, I pull away from her.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asks, looking at her arms which have scars and bruises around. "Because, I'm kinda of scared," she mumbles, I put a piece of her hair behind her ear. "Guess I'm not so brave at all, huh?" she asks, smiling slightly. "Love, you're beautiful," I kiss her forehead, her cheeks went red slightly. I chuckled.

"Meet you at the diner! xx Cal"

I put my phone back into my pocket, "hey Calum is meeting us in the diner," I say, pulling her beanie down. Her beanie is actually Lea's. "Hey!" she pouts, putting it back properly. "By the way, I'm bringing you shopping tomorrow," I added as we walk out of the area.

"What? I have an shift tomorrow," she says, well too bad.

"Why is the diner close tomorrow and why is there cake on the ceiling?" Chelsea asks when we enter the diner. "Because we decided everyone needs a rest, especially you," Her Granny says, "that's why I'm bringing her out tomorrrow," I say in a cheery tone. Then the cake fell on Stephanie's head.

We all burst out laughing, "who did this to me?" She asks but we didn't reply because we're still laughing. She huffs and leaves the diner. I look at Chelsea who is really laughing and she's look beautiful as ever.

"Hey guys, sit down, Granny cooked desserts today!" Cheryl exclaims, coming out with brownies and cake. "So how did it go?" Calum asks, looking at me and Chelsea. "Well, Chelsea broke up with her boyfriend," I replied, "and Luke is an idiot," she snaps, smiling. "Hey, since tomorrow is a Saturday, Chelsea have no job and Lea have no school,lets have a sleepover!" Ashton exclaims, "no!" Me and Chelsea snaps.

"Great idea!" the rest agrees, "I hate you, Ashton," I glare at him. "You love me," he winks jokingly, "let's just dig in," I say, looking at the food.
