Chapter 3

    As you two entered the bedroom, you both saw a problem.

    "Ah, I see there is only one bed. That's alright. I will take the couch," you said. As you headed towards the couch, a hand grabbed your arm.

    "No, Y/N. Please take the bed. You work too hard. Consider this me paying back to you." As he said this, he placed his things on the couch and began to unpack. You headed towards the opposite direction and did the same.

    It was around 5:30pm. We were all suppose to meet at the diner around 6:30. Ji Hye suggested Jungkook and her fiancée get ready together while you and her get ready together.

    You stepped out of the shower and into your bathrobe. As you went out to look for Ji Hye, you got a text.

New Message

[Ji Hye] 

Hi, Y/N! Sorry but I might be a little late. I'll be there around 6. Also, I found this GOURGOUS dress in the back of my closest. It really suits you. It's hanging in front of the closest door. See you soon!

    You looked on the closest handle to see a gray bag hanging from it. You unzipped the bag only to find the most beautiful dress you've ever seen. It was a one strap, silky dress with a ribbon at the waist and the color of midnight blue. 

    You quickly put the dress on and looked in the mirror. She was right. It really suit you. 

    As you began to curl your hair, a knock came at the door. You turned your head to the clock which read 5:50.

    "Y/N. It's me, Ji Hye. Are you ready?" she asked. You put down the curling iron and took a last look at yourself in the mirror before heading to the door.

    As you opened it, you heard a gasp and a squel after that. 

    "OH MY! Y/N, you look amazing. I bet you would knock Jungkookie right off his feet!" she teased. I gave her a smile before heading down the stairs.

    As soon as you enter the living room, you saw Ji Hye's fiancée and Jungkook. He was wearing a navy blue dress shirt with a black tie and jacket. You could have sworn his jaw dropped when you walked in. You went up to greet him.

    "Hi. You look great," you said. Of course he looked great. He always did.

    "Yeah. Y/N, you l-looked good, too," he shuttered. You couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed in his comment. You spent a good thirty minutes getting ready.

    We drove to the diner in Ji Hye car. There was only silence, unless someone coughed or sneezed. We entered the diner and two people came to greet us. 

    "Oh there you guys are. You're late! Your father and I have been waiting for about 10 minutes already," she complained.

    "I'm sorry, Mrs. Jeon. There was traffic in the area. My brother will also be joining us, but he will be a few minutes late."

    We all took our seats and ordered our food. You order the smallest option on the menu. Jungkook gave you a questioning look.

    "Why the smallest protion?" he asked.

    "I don't like to eat to much while I'm on vaction. It's very hard to excericise on vacation so I am trying my best to keep in shape," you explained. After that, you guys had a conversation until another guest arrived.

    "Hello. I am sorry I am late," he said. He took seat to you. You looked over at him and realize something. He look familiar. Could it be...?

    He looked over and asked," Y/N? Is that you?" So it was him!

    "Kim Taehyung? Hi! It's been a while has it?"

    "Yes it has! Wow, you look so beautiful. You've really grown up," he said.

    You blushed. "Thank you. You have, too. You look very handsome."

   You both began to laugh and share memories when you heard Jungkook cleared his throat. You instantly looked over.

    "Care to introduce me, Y/N," Taehyung said in a teasing tone. 

    "Oh, that's right! Jungkook, this is my childhood friend Kim Taehyung. Taehyung, this is um... My boyfriend Jungkook," you said. After you quickly introduced them, Taehyung and you went back to your conversation.

{Jungkook's POV}

    He looked at you two laughing and talking like they had know each other since forever. Which may be true, but he felt like a third wheel. He looked saw how you laughed and smile. He had never once seen you like this. Or at least with him.

    Finally, an idea popped up. As the food arrived he thought of a way to get your attention. Nudge you foot? No, you would probably think it was an accident. Then he got it. He smiled mischievously. This was going to work.

{Your POV}

    You enjoyed the food that was just brought for you. It was small but good enough to make you full. You continued to talk to Taehyung when you felt a hand on your leg. You stiffened at the touch. Then you realized; it was Jungkook. Then his hand began to stroke you leg. 

    You looked at him with the puzzled look, but when you looked over at him, he was looking around like nothing was going on. You froze in your seat before he finally gave you leg a small squeeze and lifted his hand away. 

    Your only thought was: What was that all about?

    As you all finished and headed outside, Taehyung approached you and Jungkook.

    "Hey, Y/N! Want to go hang out by the beach tomorrow? It pretty close from where your staying so I thought maybe we could catch up," he said. He scratched the back of his neck before shoving his hands in his pockets. He always did this when he was nervous.

    "Ye-" you began before Jungkook interupted you.

    "Sorry, Taehyung, but Y/N and I are actually going there tomorrow together. Just the two of us," Jungkook said with a broad smile.

    "Oh... Um, okay. That's alright. Maybe another time. Well... Catch you two later!" he said with a quick wave before heading to his car.

    "We're going to the beach tomorrow?" you asked with a questioning look. Jungkook pushed you against the car. He leaned in. You faces were so close. If either of you moved, you would be kissing. You smelled alcohol in his breath. Was he drunk?

   He suddenly kissed the tip of your nose before pulling away and answer, "Yes, of course we are!" before going in the car. You held your cheeks in you hand. You were burning up. Your phone vibrated, showing a new message.

NEW message

[Kim Taehyung]

Beach 2morow? B4 sunset. I'll pick you up at 5.

    You thought about it before sending your answer. Of course you would go. He was one of your best friends. You would go after you went with Jungkook in the morning. Beside, Jungkook wouldn't mind. He wasn't ACTUALLY your boyfriend... Right?
