We came home around 10:30 at night. You slowly helped Jungkook up the stairs into the bedroom.

You placed Jungkook on the couch and searched for a blanket.

"Mmm... That's okay, Y/N. It's not that cold. I don't need one," he said smiling before falling asleep.

1:57am

You checked the time on your phone before getting up. You head down to the kitchen for some water before returning to the bedroom.

Before climbing back to bed, you went to go check on Jungkook. You gave him one look before realizing something. He was shivering. Was he cold?

You place your hand on his cheek. It was ice cold. You spotted a blanket next to your luggage. Coming back with the blanket, you wrapping the blanket around him, covering from his neck to toes.

As you settled down back to bed, you shook your head in disbelief. He truly was stubborn.

{Jungkook's POV}

9:30

He rubbed his eyes as he sat up. He must have overslept because he didn't see you in bed. Then he also realized he wrapped in a blanket. He smiled.

Slowly getting up, he reached for the tiny sticky note placed on the table next to him

Jungkook,

Taehyung invited me to breakfast at a nearby diner. I will be back before 10:30. Then we can head to the beach. ~Y/N

P.S. I made some bacon, toast, and eggs for you. They are on the kitchen counter.

He couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed. It was not because he felt left out. It was because you were with someone else.

{Your POV}

You couldn't help but feel a little guilty for leaving Jungkook by himself for breakfast. But you also need sometime to catch up with Taehyung.

"Y/N? Are you alright?" he said.

"Yes, I'm fine. It's just maybe it would be better if I brought Jungkook with us," you inquired.

He smirked. "You know... It doesn't seem like you and Jungkook are ACTUALLY boyfriend and girlfriend. I never once saw last night him hold your hand."

"Y-Yeah, well. We're not really the type to hold hands," you laughed nervously. He raised an eyebrow at you.

After seconds of silence, Taehyung finally spoke.

"Alright, Y/N. Spill," he commanded. You couldn't tell him. You couldn't tell no one. But this was Taehyung right? You could trust him.

"Okay, okay. Jungkook asked me to be him fake girlfriend because his mother thinks he actually has one. I'm actually his assistant at his company and he's my boss. I couldn't turn down his offer," you said meekly.

"Alright then...I see... So he wouldn't mind if I took you on a date?" he asked.

When you didn't answer right away, he quickly added,"It's alright if you don't want to. It's just that... When we were in highschool, I guess I really liked you. You were the prettiest girl I've seen and I just didn't get the guts to ask you out..." He looked away nervously.

You felt yourself blush. In fact, you did like Taehyung. But you didn't know you would like him like this.

"Well," you started. As soon as you did, he turned immediately to your direction. "I always did admire you. You are very kind-" You paused. Then you smiled. "How about tomorrow night? There is a pretty good restaurant near the beach and-"

Before you could finish, Taehyung pulled you in for a hug. "Okay! I'll pick you up tomorrow at 6." We payed for our food and drove to your house. As he drove into the driveway, he asked, "Y/N? Do you still have that dress I sent to you for your 20th birthday?"

You nodded. Of course you did. It was one of your most special dress. Only because your best friend bought it for you.

"D-Do you mind wearing that tomorrow night?" His cheeks showed a hint of red.

"Whatever you say," You smiled and got out of the car into the house.

As you enter, you notice Jungkook on the counter near the kitchen eating the breakfast you cooked for him.

He slowly turned his head to face you as you walked through the door.

"Where exactly have you been?" he questioned.

"Breakfast with Taehyung. I wrote you a note," you said puzzled. Then you quickly added, "Also Taehyung is taking me out for dinner tomorrow. Is that alright?"

You expected a nod or a mumbled yes but instead he stood up and went over to you.

"YOU are not allowed to go out with other guys. I am supposed to be your boyfriend. Ji Hye and mom will suppect something is wrong. I'm not taking chances."

You clenched your fists. "So all you care about is disappoint your mom and sister? What about me?"

"Doing this is your JOB! Did I not mention this eariler?"

That was when you lost it. "So that's all I am? Just a thing you can use so you can throw away later?" He opened his mouth to speak, but you silenced him. "I thought you were different from what the people have said. But now I know it's true. You are heartless." Tears pooled down your face. His face went pale. Then you turned ran up the stairs.

You heard him yell your name. But you ran up into the room and locked the door. You laid down on the bed and closed your eyes. You pulled out your phone and texted Taehyung.

>Can we reschedule to tonight?
