Chapter 13

    "Y/N... Is that- I mean it's you," Minhyuk said slowly. You nodded. You were afraid of what would hapoen next.

    "Wait, Y/N, this is Minhyuk?!" Jungkook exclaimed. You nodded in response. His face turned from calm to angry. He suddenly took Minhyuk by the collar and push him against the wall.

    "You. You were the one to break Y/N's heart. You left her and she loved you," Jungkook growled. You quickly ran up and tried to pull him away from Minhyuk.

    "Jungkook, no! Please don't hurt him," you said softly. He released and stepped back.

    "Jungkook, can you please step out of the room? I need to speak with Minhyuk," you asked. He nodded and headed out the door, closing it.

    You motioned him to sit down. "So, how ha-"

    "Y/N, I'm so sorry," he interupted. "That man was right. I did break your heart. And I regret it every day. But I was drunk and stupid. I loved you, and I still do. I want take you back."

    You slowly took in all his spoken words. He still loved you? you thought.  You shook off the thought and said,"Minhyuk. I have moved on. That man... That is my boyfriend, Jungkook... I'm sorry."

    He sighed. "Then I'll have to win you back." He stood up and headed for the door. When he opened it, Jungkook quickly rushed in.

    "Ah! Jungkook, I've heard. Do you mind if Y/N and I go to the beach today together?"

    Jungkook looked shocked at first. But then he relaxed and said, "Alright."
You were about to protest before he added, "But I need to come as well."

    Minhyuk smiled broadly. "Alright. Meet me down by the beach in 15 mintues." He headed for the door. He suddenly stopped by you and whispered, "I'll win you back. Just watch."

    You and Jungkook arrived and met up with Minhyuk by the ice cream cart.

    He handed you a cone and said, "Here you go." You were shocked at first. How did he remember my favorite ice cream flavor?

    You kindly accepted it and moved on. You walked side by side both of them. Just then, Minhyuk swung his arm over your shoulders. You turned to only see him looking around innocently.

    Jungkook must have seen this because he grabbed your hand and laced it with his. "Y/N. I heard there was a fair across the street. Want to go check it out?" Minhyuk asked. You loved fairs when you both were dating. You were suprised he even remembered.

    The three of you headed to the fair. There was a ride for couples that you wanted to try out.

    "Yah! Y/N, want to go on that ride?" Minhyuk questioned.

    You looked at Jungkook and asked, "Will you go with me?"

    "Why don't you just go with him?" he answered bitterly. You frowned and went with Minhyuk.

    As you two climbed in and started the ride, Minhyuk looked over at you. "You okay?" he asked. You gave him a weak smile and nodded.

    "Jungkook is so lucky," he sighed. "He gets a beautiful and great girlfriend, he doesn't even see it."

    You turned to face him. "Th-That's not true. He's been so great to me. He takes care of me. He watches out for me. He-"

    "And I don't do the same?" he interupted. Your eyes widened. Of course he did. He loved you when no one else did. He cared enough to go looking for you. There were so many reasons why you should love him.

    But you didn't. You loved Jungkook now. That was then and this is now. The ride shortly ended and you went to go look for Jungkook.

    You spotted him on a bench with his phone out. You walked up behind him only to find him looking at a picture of you two a few days ago at the beach. He chuckled before turning around.

    "Y/N!" he jumped out of his seat. You gigged. His face turned a bright red color.

    "Was that a picture of us?" you said trying to contain your laughter. He shyly nodded.

    "Well... I need to talk to you about something..."

{Jungkook's POV}

    His hearted stopped. He knew this would come. He knew he should've declined Minhyuk's request.

    "Y/N... Can we not talk right now?" he sighed. He wasn't ready for this.

    "No," you said sitting down next to him. "It needs to be spoken about now."

     He nodded.

{Your POV}

    "Minhyuk told me he still loved me. He wanted to take me back," you began. You heard him suck in his breath.

    "I told him th-"
   
    Before you could finish, Jungkook grabbed your wrist and pulled you over behind a stand. He pushed you against the wall.

    "Jungkook! What are yo-" You were interrupted suddenly by a kiss. You instantly melted into his kiss forgetting for a second what to say. You abruptly pulled back.

    "No, stop," you commanded.

    "This is it, right?" he asked ducking his head. "We're over?"

    Your eyes widened. You placed a hand on the side of his cheek to lift his face to yours. "Why would you think that?"

    He shrugged. "Suddenly, your ex-boyfriend comes wanting you back. He was your first love. What was I suppose to expect?"

    You shook your head. "You're a real idiot, you know?" You sighed. "I told him... It was too late. Because my heart was already claimed by another. I told him that even though he loved and cherished me, you did, too. You gave me even more. So, tell me why should I break up with you?"

    His eyes seem to glow. It was getting dark. He leaned in for a kiss. Just then, fireworks exploded in the air. You leaned in all the way so your lips were touching. This was by far the best night.

    You both arrived home and collapsed in bed. You checked your messages.

>Ji Hye: Big Day tomorrow!!!!

>You:I know! I'm excited as well.
