So I've been watching South Park for a little over a year now and I just noticed that they made an Outsiders reference.
In the episode "A Nightmare on FaceTime", the boys are trick or treating. Stan is on FaceTime with them because he can't go (he has to stay in Blockbusters with his dad. Long story). Kyle's iPad is about to die, and just before it does, Stan tells Kenny, "Stay gold."
I freaked out when I saw it. When I first watched it, I hadn't read The Outsiders yet, so I didn't understand.

(There may or may not be swearing in this video so just be aware of that. I really only wanted to find that one clip but this is all I could find.)
