We were in the middle of a war, and there she was, pregnant. She fought with the Greeks. Even though she risked the Baby's life. Days and weeks had gone by and before I knew it she was in the infirmary with an injury. Thank the gods it was only her ankle. But it got worse. Somehow, she being there had turned my life to the worse.

Even if she was my sister, she was slowly driving me insane. Back talking authority. Me, even when I was trying to help her. She was turning into Jade. gods not another Jade.

And then, as if it was magic, she went into labor.

I was there the entire time holding her hand. I was her only family. Finally her kid was born. She named her Sarah.

For my Sarah. Our sister. I held her baby as Lilly slept. I had originally come into the infirmary to see Bryan. As he had gotten injured in he battle at the pavilion. I was so scared. I walked down the hall to his room, Doctor Who blaring from behind the door.

I knocked, "Who's there?" His voice came, "Your girlfriend stupid, didn't you think I'd visit you?"  A loud sigh came from the door, "I don't want you to see me like this."

"Bryan I swear to the gods so help me, I'm holding a baby out here."
The door swung open so fast, I didn't even have time to say thank you. He was at the door on his crutches. "You didn't tell me you were pregnant!"

I sighed, rolling my eyes, "I wasn't. She's Lilly's." He sighed. "Thank the gods." I looked down at Sarah's little face, smiling softly, rocking her, "Can I come in then?" He nodded, crutching back to the bed he had sat on, Doctor Who paused at the title screen.  I sat next to him. He smiled down at Sarah, "What's her name?" I pause for a second, "Sarah."

He looks up at me, "Like..." I nod quietly. Bryan knows my entire background, my family, my life story, he's my best friend turned boyfriend. He gave me a side hug.

We sat together for a few hours, talking, I can't remember what about.

I went back to Lilly's room and gave her back Sarah, then went back to Bryan's room. I fell asleep there. In the chair next to his bed. I couldn't leave him, couldn't go back to battle. Not while he and Lilly were here.

I couldn't bare to leave them.
