Okay Then.

I traveled around the country. Looking for Demigods and Demititans. I was in Manhattan that week, to visit friends. When I found another demigod.

I was walking through Hot Topic looking for band t-shirts. There was only one other customer in the store with me at the time, a boy, black hair, with dark green eyes, and a black beanie. When I went towards the front of the store, looking at a Five Nights At Freddy's bracelet. When I felt something slip into my jean pocket.

I flinched slightly. Turning in the direction I would assume the person who put the note in my back pocket went. Meaning out the door. I slid the note out carefully, seeing it was folded up and the paper was sketching paper, I scoffed, "Who would waste good sketchpad paper like that?"

Meet Me Behind The Store

was written in slanted, sloppy writing. I rolled my eyes and slid the note back into my pocket. I exited the store, pausing before heading into the back alley.

Nobody was there, "Hello?" I call out quietly, gripping my dagger in one hand, quietly walking down the alleyway the light from where I came was filled with the shadow of a man. I spun around quickly to see a boy. The boy that was in the store, a wicked grin on his face.

I backed up quickly, my back hitting a brick wall behind me, I had never been one for fighting unless I was threatened, my fist clenched tighter on my dagger's handle. "Hello, Melissa." The boy growled quietly. "Look kid, I don't want any trouble, I just-"

"Don't call me kid. I'm 19!" He snapped, "Okay, and?" He rolled his eyes, "How about you take a few steps closer?" He grins, unsheathing a gleaming dagger. "Um, I'm okay." I mutter taking out my own weapon in defense. "Awe, I just wanted to add some decoration to your pretty little face, maybe your throat." I growl, "Who are you, and what do you want from me?" My hand going down to my belt, unscrewing my water bottle cap quietly. "I'll answer questions after your dead. All you need to know is you're a threat to my employers."

I bite my lip, the boy advancing quickly, I throw my dagger at the ground, bouncing it somehow that it hits directly into his shoulder. He yelps in pain, but yanks the dagger out of his shoulder and continues to advance. I flick my hands towards him, my water bottle exploding, and pinning him to the side wall, at the same time forcing him to drop his knife.

I march up to him, extremely mad.
holding up my dagger to his throat, "Answers, now."

He swallows, "My name is Jessie, I'm a son of Mors." I rolled my eyes, "A Roman, okay." "I was told you were a threat and that I needed to kill you. I can tell that it was because your a pretty powerful daughter of Poseidon." He continued, "I'm not that powerful." I knew when I had come to camp most of the Big 3 Kids were more powerful then then I am now. He nodded, "You overtook me, I've taken down a lot of people in my time hunting my assignments."

"Who's your employer?" He stares at me, "I don't know." I press my dagger deeper into his throat. "Who is your employer?" I ask again, more aggressive this time.
"I swear I don't know! I've never heard their names or seen there faces!" I growl, "You're lying." He stares me in the eyes, "Kill me if you must, if I come back and you're not dead. Then I'm dead."

I take my dagger off his throat, picking up his weapon and putting it in my backpack, the same one I always carried. "You're coming to camp with me then. You'll be safer."
He stares at me as I flick my hand and he falls to his knees on the ground, the extra water going back into the bottle.

When we reached camp I took him to the Hermes cabin. I don't care if I needed permission or not, this demigod was in danger. And I was going to help him. In the past when they put all the unclaimed kids in the Hermes cabin, I don't care if camp changed or not. He was going with them. Just because I hoped he had a bad time.

I told him goodnight and went back to the Poseidon cabin. Half wishing Bryan was at Camp so I could talk to him in the morning before I left. But he was at Camp Jupiter. That was his home. It didn't matter about the past. Only the present and the future for him.

I was different though, I worried about all three, because people who've had beef with me in the past might try to kill me in the present or the future. I had to watch my back, he didn't understand.
