-Your P.O.V-

"YOU'RE GOING ON A DATE WITH JOSH DUN!?"

Karma bounced up and down outside of the van as I had just told her about last night.

"Josh didn't say it was a date!" I announce.

She stops jumping and looks me in the eyes.

"(Y/N)! Seriously!? It's totally a date! Josh is mad for you!" She smiles.

Josh really likes me that much?

A smile starts to sprawl across my face from my thoughts.

"JOSH AND (Y/N) SITTING IN A TREE, K-I-S-S-"

"Alright! Alright!" I place my hand on Karma's shoulder in an attempt to calm her down.

"I'm sorry, I'm just so excited!"

"Jeez K, you seem even more excited than I am." I chuckle.

Karma tilts her head as her lilac hair falls to the side.

"Aw, (Y/N). I'm so happy for you." She walks towards and wraps her arms around me.

I hug her back, also happy for myself.

We just arrived in Phoenix, Arizona.

My home state.

(A/N: Sorry if you're not from the U.S. or Arizona! This is just a fictional story so I'm making stuff up haha.)

It's so weird being back here. I haven't been to Phoenix ever since I moved out to L.A. years ago.

Not much has changed though. Still same old Phoenix.

My thoughts are interrupted as a pair of arms are wrapped around my shoulders in an embrace.

"Hey there." I hear the voice say.

Josh.

"Hey Josh." I smile, blushing uncontrollably.

"So you excited for tonight?" Josh asks, letting his arms fall to his sides.

"Of course." I reply.

Josh smiles.

This makes me smile even harder.

And for a moment, everything is silent.

It's not an awkward silence though.

We just stood there. Staring at each other.

I guess just admiring each other's presence?

"Hey you two." Josh and I break from our gaze and turn our heads to see the one and only Tyler Joseph making fun of us.

"Hey Tyler." I greet.

Tyler smiles at Josh and I.

"I-uh, I gotta go." Josh blushes.

"I'll see you tonight." I wave goodbye.

"See ya, (Y/N)."

-Time Skip-

A little while later, Karma and I were sitting in our hotel room in Phoenix.

"Okay, what do you wanna wear?" Karma asks excitedly.

"I don't know! Josh won't tell me where we're going. All I know is that we're eating somewhere." I respond.

"Do you think it's fancy?" Karma wondered.

"No idea. I hope not. I didn't really bring any fancy clothes with me." I worry.

"No worries, I'm sure you'll look great either way!" Karma reassures me, looking through my clothing options.
