Seconds passed but I just stared at her back.
What she was trying to suggest me to do made me decide to cancel that silly friend request immediately.
"Excuse me. I'll just go to the wash room."
While waiting for her, I fished out my phone. Notifications made my phone beep after another.
For an unknown reason, I felt disappointed.
She was wearing a red see-through and black spaghetti strap underneath. Nakashorts rin siya ng black. Half of her face was covered with her shades and bangs.
All in all, it took my breath away.
Am I starting to like her? No. But if yes, it's only because of her physical appearance. It's her beauty that attracts me.
I was finally going to cancel my friend request when someone snatched my phone behind my back, "Hey!"
She has my phone.
"Look what we have here..." Sinubukan pa niya ilayo but since I'm way taller than her, she failed.
My hand stayed in my pocket; still holding my phone.
"What?" I asked. May pupuntahan tayo."
"Keisha. Nabasa ko 'yong dress niya last time kaya papalitan ko." I was confused for a moment because the last time I checked, Keisha was never her friend.
"Let's go!" she excitedly exclaimed. With the paperbag in hand, she dragged me to the basement.
"Is she your friend now?"
"Of course not." Tumango ako. Of course. But she does it also for her friends. And with what she did a while ago was far from that. She just randomly picked the dress.
We need to celebrate, you know..." tuloy niya habang taas-baba ang kilay.
Ignoring her last statement I asked, "Party for? Birthday ba niya?"
