Chapter Five - Have I fallen for a Gleeful?

"Yes, Gideon, of course I'm okay!"

Gideon was becoming increasingly concerned as I told him the events of my day. He kept butting in with silly questions, though.

Soon enough, I had finished my story. Gideon looked shocked.

"Well, this could only mean one thing..." Gideon said, smirking. "You like Gleeful!"

I blushed furiously. "No way in hell I like him!" I yelled, while Gideon had a triumphant smile on his face.

"If you say so Paz.." he teased in a sing-song voice, before walking out of my room. I huffed in frustration, and laid back on my bed, staring up at the ceiling, which was covered in thick layers of cobwebs.

Sitting up, I pulled the journal out of my bag. I flipped through the pages, until I landed on a new thing Gideon and I had not discovered yet.

I skipped downstairs with my backpack, ran to the kitchen, open the fridge, and put some snacks in my bag. Then, I ran up to Gideon's room, and knocked, calling out, "Hey Gid! Wanna come on an adventure with me?"

He soon swung open the door, smiling widely. I smiled back, before we both ran, down the stairs, along the stretch of grass outside, until we were at the forest's perimeter.

"So what adventure we on today, Southeast?" Gideon asked, as we set off into the forest.

[A/N: Sorry guys about the rubbishness of this chapter. I had major writers block... but the next chapter will be Vetter and long we and will help set up for major Dipcifica later on! It's all about Pacifica and... DAMIEN! Yes, the boy from Chapter One! My original plan was to have Dipper all last chapter but we have to have Damien in there with his 'princess' somewhere, don't we? Anyway, sorry about only 200 something words. Will be better next time. I promise.
