Perrie
I pack my bags at a slow pace, the clock ticking on the wall and the sky changing outside. Outside the rain shot down onto the concrete.
Moving back and forth from my closet to my bed I could hear murmers from downstairs. It was odd because it was just Luke down there. But he probably invited Selena over.
I continued to remove my clothes from their hangers and folded them neatly into my luggage.
After a few moments I heard someone rushing up the stairs. I left it alone and carried on. The rain outside began to get heavier and my head began to throb.
Seconds later I felt a gush of wind brush against my skin and arms wrap around my waist.
"I love you," she cried, "please don't leave me. You don't have to leave P just stay."
I closed my eyes and felt a tear fall down my cheek as I placed my hands over hers. Dropping the shirt in my hands I turned around. For the first time in what seemed like ages, I met with her eyes.
I pressed my forehead against hers and breathed in heavily, "I don't want to baby. But I have to. For us, for you. Believe me, I don't want to leave you - but my mom," I say "the only way the wedding will be cancelled is if I leave. When I come back we can we us again. Without hiding."
She cried even harder, her eyes facing the floor as I tucked her hair behind her ear. I pressed a tender kiss on her hair before taking her in for a hug.
"I love you," I tell her, "and you know that. But I can't watch you cry when I walk down that aisle. And I pray that it won't happen."
"And it truly won't." Luke spoke.
We turned around and watched Luke come into my room with a smile on his face. He stood between us and breathed heavily. He took ahold of my hand and Jade's with his other.
"Both of you are my best best friends," he started, "and as a guy it's my job to make sure both of you are ok. And with me flying to California with Pez I understand where Jade's coming from."
I smiled," And where exactly are you taking this Lucas?" I ask, laughing as I wiped my wet cheek.
"What I'm saying is," he laughed, "both of you are helplessly in love with each other. Even if she leaves," he smiles, "both of you will get the freedom you've been wanting for years. And like it's also for me. I mean I - I can finally be with my girlfriend."
I nodded, "You're right." I laugh.
"A year may sound like a lifetime but look at all the types of communication the world has today. You two can talk all you want. It's like you two were never apart. Just imagine this," he smiled, "Perrie Thirlwall."
I smiled and noticed Jade's eyes light up with hope. Her frown turned into a big smile and like it was a miracle - my Jade was back.
"Maybe it won't be that bad after all." she chuckled.
I laughed and lifted her up in the air, "Aye there she is. I was afraid you'd still be angry when I leave tomorrow."
"Well guess what? I'm not." she smiled.

Later that day I found myself beside Jade in bed. We both looked up at the ceiling and just laid there in silence.
"Don't change much over there yeah?"
I laughed,"Are you joking? I won't. I mean I won't promise that but I don't think I will. And I'll make sure of that."
She smiled and faced me, "I love you."
I intertwined our fingers and nodded, "And I love you more Jade. More than my mom will ever imagine."
"You think a year will fly by?" she asked.
"I'll assure you that as long as we keep in touch everyday," I smile, "I think it will. Just like Luke said. Like I never even left your side."
