Jade

I hook the necklace around her neck and smiled at how beautiful it looks on her. Looking at the mirror I watch her admire it and hold it between fingers. A single tear rolls down her face and I couldn't help but giggle a bit.

"Come here." I smile. She turns  round and buries her face in the crook of my neck, letting tears roll down her face and fall on my bare shoulder, "do you like it?" I ask.

I felt her nod as she snaked her arms around me tightly as if she never wants me to leave. I hug her back, pressing my lips softly against her blonde hair, "I didn't get the chance to get you anything," she said softly, "I'm sorry." she apologised. I rub her back to comfort her, "It doesn't matter baby."

"Yeah but today's not just about me. It's both of us." she continued.

"I understand where you're trying to go," I say, "but seeing you happy and being with me is more than enough of a gift. The necklace is just a little something that I'd thought you'd love and appreciate. You mean a ton to me and I had to showcase that. Even if was in something small."

"Ok." she said softly, coming out between the crook of my neck and looking at me.

"I love you." I say, moving her hair away from her eyes and pressing a kiss on her forehead then her nose then her lips. She kisses back, her tongue sliding under my soft lips. I didn't want to take it to far right now. I want to feel her properly without having to strip her out of her clothes.

"I love you too." she said.

We fell apart and we pressed our foreheads together, "We should head off now."

Perrie nods and wiggles her hand into mine. I smile and lift up our hands, pressing a kiss on hers.

I take her down the street to the flower shop and quickly took her inside, lying that I had to buy them for Lauren for her hard work towards my big surprise.

She sat down on the leather couch in the corner and took out her phone. I head over to the counter, a huge smile on my face as the lady smiled back at me, "Jade." she said.

"Mrs Payne." I smile as she bent down and grabbed a bouquet of white and light pink roses.

"Here you go darling," she smiled, "Liam said your surprise is going really well."

I nod," Really now," I chuckle as I grabbed the roses, "thank you for roses."

"Not a problem dear. That's why I work here in the first place." she laughed.

I wave her goodbye before hiding the bouquet and walking towards Perrie who barely even noticed,"Happy Anniversary." I giggle.

Her eyes left her screen and focuses on me," You fucking liar." she laughed.

I giggle and hand her the roses, "Do you like them?" I ask as she takes them.

She nods, "Without a doubt Thirlwall," she laughs, "is that all you have to show me?"

I shrug, "We'll have to see about that then," I laugh as I grab her hand and tug her off the couch, "come on, get up Edwards." I say as I lift her off without any effort. She wasn't as heavy as I originally thought.

We walk out the store and head down the street to the park where I popped the question. I brang her a little further down to the dog park. I knew how much she adores dogs. And that's where my next surprise happens.

"There are adorable," she smiles, "they make my heart melt." I say.

"Do you want a dog?" I ask.

"I'd love to. But maybe if we had the money." she said.

"Jade!"

I turn around and smiled, "Hey Mr. Payne."

"Call me Geoff," he chuckled,"Nice to see you again," he smiles as he bends down to pick up the puppy he brang with him, "this little guy here I'm sure will love you both. He's a cheeky one." he laughed.

I took him in my hands, laughing as he started sniffing me," Hey, boy."

"Well I can't stay long though," he said, "I better get going."

We waved him goodbye and admired the little fluff ball.

"Jade, you honestly just didn't get a puppy..." Perrie laughs, covering her face.

"Any name suggestions?"

"Hatchi!" she laughed.
