Chapter 1: Terms To Know

Hello, Wattpad user! In this chapter, we will cover terms you should know before you decide to ship something. I am sorry for any inaccuracies; most, if not all, of this information has been brought to me by fellow students in Hope's Peak Academy.

Since I am just as curious as you as to what shipping is I have asked some nearby acquaintances on what they know of the word 'shipping'.

Sayaka Maizoni says, " It's where my manager sets me up with a guy for a week and the fans think I like him. "

Junko Enoshima says, " Shipping is something I enjoy. I call out every flaw of one's ship. They fall into so much despair!"

Makoto Naegi says, " I don't think Wattpad is a safe thing for you, Taka. "

Mondo Oowada says, " Like hell do I know. "

Expert Hifumi Yamada says, " It is a term for romantic relations between one or more men, women, children, or animals from any type of reality and media."

Hifumi Yamada has also informed me on three types of ships: "The Yaoi, the Yuri, and the Het."

Hifumi quotes, " Het ships are guy and girl action like.... Touko and Togami. Yuri ships are girl on girl. They are the best types..... Like Asahina and Sakura. And yaoi ships are guy on guy action like.... you and Oowada. "

Let me clear that my bro, Mondo Oowada, has no romantic relations with me, Kiyotaka Ishimaru. That would be just silly if it were true. We're just bros! Bros for life....

Moving on, another term Yamada told me of is the word ' cannon'. After some questioning, I found someone who could explain the word to me.

" It means it's real, Kiyotaka," Leon Kutawa said, " Like Chihiro and Mondo as a couple."

Let me also be clear and tell you that Chihiro has NO relation to Mondo romantically in the slightest! They are also just bros; bros that aren't as bro as Mondo and I however!

Our final words are the abbreviations 'OTP' and 'NOTP'. I still do not understand what either of these terms mean so if you would like to help me explain then that would be most helpful.

I believe that is all the vocabulary that is needed to be known before we begin to ship.
