Since I have not yet found a suitable ship I like I decided it would be better if I instead research more about OCs. Perhaps I can find a pairing I enjoy if I made one of the characters.
I've looked at many videos that decipher the rights and wrongs of OCs. One thing that has been mentioned above all else is to not have a " Mary Sue". From what I've researched, a Mary Sue is an OC with no flaw in their looks, history, and/or personality.
I concluded after finding this fact I could go to one of my classmates for ideas of how to make my OC. I stumbled across a little kid who claimed they were the ultimate artist. Since I was looking for someone with a creative mind to help mine I allowed them to draw my OCs for me.
