Zebra x Ashley--Miracle

This is for that special someone again. I'm really sorry that this story is so short.

It's been a whole year since that day, and now I'm on the couch watching TV with a bowl of popcorn on my stomach. Yes, I'm pregnant. And you wouldn't guess with who.

Zebra!

I know, it's hard to believe. But it's true. Right now I'm waiting for him to get home from a mission. I was just watching TV with Rin and Melk when I felt a slight nudge. I smile and put a hand on my stomach happily. Nine months of carrying has really been painful but it's going to be worth it when the baby comes into the world and gives me its first smile.

"So, how are things with Zebra?" Asked Rin. I giggled.

"Great, thanks. I mean, I hate the fact that he went on a mission before our baby was born, but hey, he does it to save people," I said with a sigh. He's been gone for three weeks and it's getting closer to the due date. Sensing my sadness, Melk puts an arm around me.

"Don't worry about it, ok? He'll be here when it's time, alright?" She said. I smiled at her and nodded. I stood up--at least I tried. Rin and Melk stood up faster than I did.

"Where do you think you're going?" They said.

"The bathroom...?" I said, raising an eyebrow. They both blush slightly in embarrassment.

A few weeks have past and still heard nothing from Zebra. He's probably busy with his mission. Rin and Melk were making me dinner while I was in the bath. It was great. I felt a slight nudge and smiled. Guess she loves the feeling too. Yes, I'm having a beatiful baby girl. I'm just waiting for her to come out.

I got out the tub an unplugged it so the water can go. I put a towel around me and headed to my room.

"Ashley, dinner's ready!" Called Rin.

"Alright I'll be down in a minute!" I called back. I closed my room door and go dressed. When done, I slowly head downstairs for dinner. When Rin caught sight of me when I reached the bottom, she flipped out.

"Why didn't you call out that you were done?! We couldda helped you!" She yelled. I sighed.

"Calm down Rin. I'm fine aren't I?" I replied. Rin shook her head and Melk laughed. I felt a sharp pain in my stomach, then a warm liquid run down my pants. I froze, as did Rin an Melk. The pain came again, but This time more powerful, so I Screamed. Rin and Melk rushed me to the car. Let's just say that it wasn't a pleasant ride.

The pain wouldn't go away. It was too great. It's been hours since I got to the hospital. Rin and Melk are in the waiting room trying fo contat Zebra. No success so far. The pain was getting more unbearable. Just then a doctor came in.

"Alright sweetheart. I need you to push ok? Can you do that for me?" She asked. I nodded and pushed hard. I screamed at the pain. It wasn't going to end well.

After about thirty minutes, I had my beatifull baby girl in my arms. Rin and Melk were on both sides of me.

"She's beautiful," said Melk. I smiled at her.

"I just wish her father was here," I said.

"Who said that I won't?" A voice came from the doorway. We all looked up to find Zebra standing there grinning. I smiled at him as Melk moved so he can come and sit next over to sit next to me.

"I love you Ashley. And you too Y/D/N," said Zebra and kissed me.
