I cheerfully waved to Adam as we were both nearing each other in the hallway.
"Hey! Did you see that Carters back?!" I asked happily. A slight frown formed on Adam's handsome face.
"Yeah, I heard. " he said not sharing my excitement.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Nothing." He said as he pulled me along in the hallway. I knew it wasn't nothing. Something was bugging him and it was bugging me, but I didn't want to press the matter any further.
"What time are you going to Stephanie's party?" I asked. He glanced back at me as he steered me through the crowd of students.
"Leaving my house at 8. So I'll probably get there at 8:10." Adam said. I hated that they lived so close, but then again I lived as close to him as he does to Stephanie. "What time should I pick you up?" He asked.
"You don't have to pick me up. Hannah's coming over so we can get ready." I said.
"Oh, okay." Adam said. We walked out of the school and was in the parking lot now. "Ill see you in a few hours." Adam said holding both my hands in his. I gave him a quick peck on the lips.
"Ill see you later." I said as I began to walk away, but was abruptly pulled back to Adam. Before I knew it his warm lips were on mine. He kissed me with an urgency. I was a little taken back from where it came from but I didn't complain. It was quite refreshing and I loved the feeling.
Maybe it would be soon that our relationship stepped up to a whole new level.
Adam pulled back and looked at me. His hands cupping my face. He looked at me with an unreadable expression I was all too confused about it. He then gave me a small smile, I smiled in return.
"Ill see you soon." He said as he began to walk away.
"Okay." I mumbled, but loud enough for him to hear.

"Knock knock." Said an intruding voice from behind me I almost fell out of my chair.
"What are you doing here?" I hissed at Alex. Alex grinned and walked towards my bed and sat on it.
"What the hell do you think I'm doing here. I'm waiting for you so we can go to Stephanie's party together. " he said.
"Are you freaking serious?" I asked myself. "Why don't you just go by yourself and meet up with your touch buddy." I spat.
"Is someone jealous?" Alex cooed.
Hah. Jealous? Me?
I definitely do not think so.
"In your dreams. And I can't go with you, Hannah and I are supposed to go there together." I said. "Which reminds me, she was supposed to be here half an hour ago." I said to myself checking my phone.
"Hannah is busy with other things. She'll be late coning to the party." Alex informed me.
I turned around from my chair, looking at my vanity mirror placed above my dresser and looked at him. "What?" I asked.
"Yep." He said popping the p. "She told me at the end of school because she knew you'd get upset. So she asked me to accompany you and all since we are such great childhood friends and shit." Alex said with a cheeky grin.
I glared at him before turning back around to face my mirror. "Get out of my room. I'm changing soon." I said grumpily.
"Ill be down stairs talking to your lovey mother." Alex said a smile etched on his face. My eyes widened as he said that. I didn't want him to be around my mom or any of my family members unless I was around.
