Alex stared down at me with no emotion on his face. I gulped because he looked intimidating. Why was he looking at me like that? What had I done? It should be the other way around. He's the one that has been lying to me.

Remembering how he manipulated me into believing him, I started getting angry again.

"Now's not the time Alex." I said scowling up at him while going to close my front door. Alex put his hand up, his palm hitting the door with a smack.

I flinched back startled by the sound. He then pushed past me and into my house.

I turned to face him with an annoyed look on my face to show him that I really didn't need this right now.

"What's going on?" He asked with a hint of anger in his voice.

Again, why was he the one acting like this?

"I'd like to ask the same thing to you." I said back, crossing my arms over my chest. He looked at me confused but then turned into a look of concern.

"I just saw Adam leaving your house looking pissed. What did he do?"

I don't need him to bring up Adam right now. This was about him right now and how he lied to me.

"That's none of your business. Bu-"

"Did he do something to you?" He cut me off. He was starting to look pissed off. While I was already at that point.

"Forget about Adam, you did something!" I yelled at him. He had an unreadable look on his face.

"What did I do?"

I really didn't want to get into this so soon. I still hadn't completely figured out how I wanted to confront him about it. I didn't know how he was going to react.

"You did it on purpose. You intentionally stabbed Cody then you tried lying to me about it." I said. I watched as Alex's face hadn't changed. "And I was stupid enough to believe you." I mumbled to myself but I was sure he could hear it when he slightly scowled.

"Did he tell you that?" He said in a low voice. I was starting to get panicked, not for me but for Cody.

"No. He didn't. I started thinking about it again and things just weren't adding up." I quickly managed to say. I didn't want him to go after Cody again, he's already been through enough.

"He was going to spike the drinks Jasmin. It could've ruined your party. I didn't wanna give him the chance to do that." He then said.

That little shit. He was planning on spiking the drinks?

"W-What?" I asked confused. Was he lying to me again? Even if he did that so Cody wouldn't spike the drinks, Alex ruined my party instead.

"I wasn't planning on stabbing him either. That just happened on my account of good luck, I guess. But ruining your party was the last thing on my mind." He said with a look of what seemed to be sincere.

"You can't expect me to believe you after you lied."

Alex sighed. "I thought about stabbing him and things just went to where it happened that way. I can't really say I regret it though. He had it coming." He explained with a smirk.
