She drops me on the floor and dashes out the door I can still feel her energy as it lurks the room. Klaus regains his consciousness and rushes to my side. The pain she left is still unbearable but it possibly isn’t as bad as it would’ve been if she could’ve loosened my aura to leave me senseless. Klaus holds me close to his chest and I wonder if he is ever letting go. He hugs me so hard that if I wasn’t a vampire I would suffocate. Shockingly he makes the pain go away the fragrance of his sweet cologne is like a drug to me.
“I thought she’d hurt you. What happened? I mean what you did to avoid the pain. No offense but you shouldn’t be that strong” Klaus simply stated in a way that made me feel very odd.
“I kept my aura up like you taught me”
“No I taught you how to keep your mind from being read not to do that. Ever that’s great!”
“No something has to be wrong”
“Ever honestly nothing is wrong you did this yourself on your own”
“Yeah I guess but if something is wrong I have to say I told you so”
“Fine Ever act like this right now but tonight we are celebrating”
“Really?” I asked with excitement because I haven’t been out of this house since I turned into a vampire.
“Why of corse my love you deserve it” he said as he kissed my forehead.
I wore a very casual black dress as he attended me through town. We walked around until we found the restaurant. He insisted for us to drive but it was far more fun to walk the town with Klaus. As we entered the restaurant we were seated immediately.
“Sir you table awaits you” the waiter said and as Klaus looked at her she blushed.
“Thank you ma’am”
As we were seated we talked like we never talked before.
“So in my past life your telling me that I was going to law school” I shrieked and giggled.
“Yes, you had quite a passion for it. Oh my I remember once when I couldn’t get you to come out of your dorm because you were so caught up in your studies. I must say you looked awful happy there in those days” He sighed.
“As happy as I am now?” I said as I smiled. Something seemed all wrong though he wasn’t directly looking at me, and he was constantly blocking his thought.
“Hmm Ms. Ever as you are always your such a contradiction”
“Klaus?” I looked up at him.
