“Missing, what! For how long! Who took me what would they want with me why don’t I remember this?
What happened? How long was I gone?” missing what that couldn’t be possible I thought to myself.
“Ever Nathan Miller took you he brought you and hid you in his father’s lake house you were kept prisoner for eight months. He wanted you to turn him into a vampire so he could destroy the archangels. But he didn’t know that your fangs had been ripped out when you swore on the oath of heaven never to turn a human.”
“Nathan Miller is in my Geometry class. He’s flirted with me since 2nd grade. Why would he want to kidnap me?”
“Nathan was in deep trouble. He had been working with fallen angels trying to destroy the arch angels. He wasn’t so bright and well he got caught. He took his rage out on you because he had some weird theory that you started it all that since you introduced him into the fallen angels it was your price to pay.”
“Introduced him to fallen angels???” It didn’t sound real how could I introduce him to fallen angels when I didn’t even know they existed.
“You um well I um knew one”
“A fallen angel?”
“Yes she and I were friends long before I met you in this life. Well once she did kill you.”
“An old friend. You mean you’re ex girlfriend tried to kill me!!!!?”
“She didn’t succeed and after that I didn’t want anything to do with her but when she came back she had been stripped of her wings and had no other place to go. By that time you were actually dead.”
“So where is Nathan now” I said purposely changing the subject.
“I killed him now he is locked away somewhere I hope to never be.”
I was shocked I couldn’t say anything this wasn’t like the Nathan I knew. Nor was Klaus the person I wanted to be alone with right now. Why did Nathan want to kill me over Klaus’s fallen angel friend?
“Why did you save me?” I questioned him. It didn’t make sense Nathan got mixed up in fallen angel business. I got kidnapped. I’m in love with a vampire. I was a vampire. And most importantly why can’t I remember any of this.
“Ever I would do anything for you why can’t you just believe me.”
I felt bad I wanted to believe him it just didn’t make any sense. “Why can’t I remember any of this?”
“Sometimes when a vampire is turned he or she is deprived of their memories.”’
“Will I ever remember?” By this time I wasn’t sure if I wanted to remember.
“Ever, my love, I hope someday you can but I wouldn’t waste my time worrying myself about it. We have things to do today”
“Like…?”
“Preparing we need to get you trained we don’t want you scrawny and defenseless in case we have an attack.”
“An attack!?!?!?! Who would attack us...?”
“I have lived a long time Ever. I have fought many wars for us, for you, for my acquaintances. Therefore I have made quite a few enemies.”
