“I'm sorry I did this it was just business nothing personal I mean you understand right he would’ve killed me” he was pleading for mercy.
“Well I'm going to finish his job for him”
“Miss Ever please no! No! I promise I’ll do whatever you want me to”
“Well right now Greene I want you to die”
“Please Please I don’t want to die I have children please no!”
“If you don’t want to die you should’ve never been born” and like that I was inside of his head, ripping him limb from limb. I was enjoying it until his friend entered the room.
He gasp and gasp as if he was running out of air I found it quite amusing. “Who did this?” he said as if he couldn’t believe what he was seeing.
“Silly boy as you must know I am one not be held captive”
“You killed my friend because he was doing what he had to do?” he looked at me like a monster and honestly I didn't quite enjoy it.
“I killed him because he was no longer needed and I'm about to kill you because you’re getting on my last nerve”
“Oh please don’t I beg of you please” he said sarcastically
“Does it ever change? Please don’t kill me. I don’t want to die. I have children Well you know I don’t really care” it wasn’t a fight to get inside of his head his aura was freely open to anyone who seeks it.
“Please I’ll tell you whatever you need to know I'm sure Klaus has filled you with lies. I promise I will answer your question to the best of my abilities” he was serious this time.
“Oh you will?”I said with a wicked smile.
“Yes Madam I’ll tell you anything” he was weak
“Well if you know so much. Who was Klaus hiding from me?”
“Ok I can answer that but you need to know a lot more. I am Nathan Miller.”
I gasped the name shocked every bone in my body. “Nathan? You’re Nathan Miller?
He nodded but kept silent.
“Of corse I should’ve known you would lie to me” I grabbed his neck and drank his blood even though he was only half vampire he still had human blood. When I drained him I staked him through the heart because that was the only way I knew how to kill a vampire.
I left the body there because it was no longer a use to me the blood was gone and no life remained. I prayed for those two men but I did continue my day. It was around four o’clock in the afternoon. I had work to d and people to find. First on my list was the real Nathan Miller. Even thought I did not know what he looked like, thanks to memory loss, it was very hard to find him.
I walked into a coffee shop after a long day I well deserved a treat. I compelled the waitress and ordered and large black coffee. When she came back to the table I knew she had no idea what was going to happen. I summoned her outside into a dark alley and then I drank her blood. It wasn’t any different than the blood Klaus gave me but it seemed to never lose its charm.
I stopped as soon as she began to go limp. I compelled her to go back into the shop and say she had been bitten by a wild animal and that she needed help immediately. I didn't want to kill her, though I had a reputation at risk in the underworld I have to keep a low profile so the government won’t get suspicious.
I walked to a motel and was shocked to see it almost empty. I walked in the office and I was greeted by a petite blond with wavy hair and brown eyes. She obviously had way too much confidence about herself, but it was very amusing.
“Can I help you Ms.?” She asked very politely I honestly was very shocked.
“Ms. Smith” it was Klaus’s last name but I needed a room and I could easily get it with the reputation of a Smith. “I need a room for the next three nights”
“Yes um well we’re packed in all of our normal rooms; most of our guests are out tonight but will arrive in the morning. There is a sweet open though if you’d like” she said as she fiddled with the computer.
“Yes that will be perfect”
“Ok your total will be $216.98” it wasn’t exactly cheep but it wasn’t a burden to pay considering the money I had kept from Klaus was still hidden in my purse.
I paid in cash which made it obvious I didn't want to get caught doing something I wasn’t supposed to be doing.
