Roomie love

Roommates, good or bad?

His roomate got home early. Still it was 1 am. Key was sick and tired of this. His roomie was loud when he got home, usually 2 in the morning, and he was making a mess. It had been 2 months since his roomate moved in. Key didn't know then that he would be out so late and be so messy. Usually when Key got home from his crappy singing waiter job, he found food and wrappers everywhere and loud snoring noises could be heard from his roomates room. Key was tired all the time because of him and it had to stop.

~2 months earlier~

He needed a roomate. The bills were piling up on his desk. He just stared at the stack of paper whilst spinning back and forth on his chair like a little child. He was modern so he decided to post it on his facebook. "Roomate wanted! Avaliable room in flat number 4, room number 46 in Seoul city. Call me or stop by to discuss further details." He pressed the post button. He didn't really think, but it seemed rational enough to him. Living with a guy or girl. It might even be fun. Key had felt so alone ever since he moved here a year ago. He convinced himself it was a good idea and closed his laptop.

As he was brushing his teeth he thought about living with someone else and who might respond to his facebook post. His friends were all in a relationship or living in internates, so he didn't expect anyone he knew to respond. He thought it might be best to live with a guy because with a girl there might be a lot more arguing. Although he didn't know how comfortable guys would be with him being gay and all.

He rinsed his mouth with water, gargled with it and then spat it out in the sink. He walked to his room with his slippers on. He kicked them off and jumped in bed. He drifted slowly away to sleep.

He woke up snoozy. He didn't start work until 3 today, so he didn't stress. He opened up his laptop in bed and logged onto facebook. Three new messages. One of them were from his friend Minho, wondering he if he wanted to go clubbing tonight. Another message were from his landlord talking about some water problem. The last one was rather interesting.

"Annyeong! My name is Kim Jong Hyun, and I heard from one of my friends that you were renting out a room? I am very interested and was wondering if I could check the place out? I'm in town today and I can just come by quickly if it's not that big of a hassle for you? Well, anyways, just message me back if interested^_^      -Jjong"

Key's first though was that this Jonghyun wrote in a very casual way. He didn't seem that bad and Key had time to kill so he typed in a message.

"Hello, thankyou for your reply. I'm free today until 3 pm so just stop by anytime. You have my adress I believe? -Kim Ki Bum"

He hit send and went to the bathroom.

30 minutes later he heard knocks on his door. He walked out to greet his potential roomie. "Hello there! I hope I'm not too rude coming here like this." Jonghyun said and smiled at Key. Key was pretty much frozen. Never had he seen such a beautiful boy. This boy had a sharp jawline, perfect skin, his hair was velvety brown, and his lips were big and full. His clothing were casual yet stylish. Key thought he was astonishing.

"No I don't bother. It's nice that you replied so fast." Key said and noticed he was blushing. He showed this beautiful stranger way into his appartment. "It's large and comfy as you see. You will be sleeping over there next to the bathroom, and I stay in here. The kitchen and living room are connected as you see. I don't decorate that much, but I believe less is more." Key said.

"I know I'm weird for saying this, but do you mind that I'm gay?" Jonghyun blurted out.

"No of course not, I am too." Key said emotionless.

"Well, then I already love it here!"  Jonghyun said and smiled.

And that's how it all started. Key never properly spoke to Jonghyun about anything other than formalities. Jonghyun never had friends over. He went out around 8 pm and came back 2 am. It wasn't annoying at first, but Key was starting to loose his mind now.

He rarely saw Jonghyun around in the appartment because he was either sleeping or spending hours in the bathroom. He wasn't sure if he should tell Jonghyun what he thought.
