When He Hurts You

Kai
Kai didn't talk to you at all yesterday, so you decide to surprise him, and go visit him at the monastery.

You knock on the door and Zane answers it. "Greetings (Y/N). What brings you on this fine day?"

"Oh, not much, I just wanted to see Kai."

"I am not sure that is a good idea." Zane says wearily.

"Why's that?"

"Well, Kai got in a fight with Lloyd, and he is still quite furious with him. I am sure you are aware that Kai has quite the temper on him. I suppose if  you insist on seeing him, I highly recommend me to accompany you."

"No, Zane that's alright, but thanks for the offer. I know Kai would never hurt me."

"Ok, if you insist." Zane says moving out of your way.

You run and knock on Kai's door, hoping he will be happy to see you.

"Go away Lloyd, I don't wanna hear your excuses." Kai says angrily from the other side.

"Kai, it's me," you say walking into his room.

"Go away (Y/N). I'm not in the mood."
You look around his room, and see the blinds are over his window, and his room his almost pitch black. You finally see Kai sitting on the edge of his bed staring at the floor, anger creased on his forehead.

"Kai, I know just the thing to cheer you up," you say walking up and hugging him.

"I TOLD YOU TO GET OUT!" You can see anger in his eyes as he glares at you.

You freeze in place, and Kai pulls out his sword threatening you. In the process, it slices your side. Pain sears through you, and you grab your side as you collapse to the ground.

"Oh my gosh, (Y/N), I didn't mean to do that, I'm so sorry," Kai says getting up, his anger replaced by hurt.

He throws his sword down, and slowly walks up to you. You get up and back away from him.

"You've done enough Kai! I never wanna see you again!" You yell and run out his bedroom door crying.

Zane catches you as you run out, "What happened?"

"Kai hurt me."

"I thought you said he would never do that."

"Well, I was wrong!" You say, and run out of the monastery still bawling.

Jay
You are sitting in Jay's workshop watching him work on another one of his projects. It was for training, and he has been working day and night for over a month.
"So Jay, when ya gonna be done?"
"Not really sure, should be done soon, but if something goes wrong I gotta fix it. This is for—"
"Training, I know, and training is to make you guys better. I know training is really important, but I really want to hang out with you sometime though."
Jay turns around and looks at you. "Tell ya what. I'll work on this all of today, then tomorrow, no matter what, I'll take you out to see a movie and get dinner. How's that sound?"
"Ok, fine."
Jay got up to get a drink and use the bathroom, and you couldn't help but be a little bit curious. You look at his invention, wonder how it works, and start messing with it.
Jay walks back into his room and says, "(Y/N), please don't touch it. I don't want it broken."
"Don't worry Jay, I'm not gonna break it." You say.
As you are looking at it, you accidentally flip a switch, and it starts sparking and smoking.
"What did you do?" Asks Jay.
"It was an accident! I must've flipped a switch!"
Anger is on Jay's face. "I TOLD YOU NOT TO TOUCH IT!" Jay yells as he shoots lightning at you.
"Ow! Jay!" You yell
Anger now replaces with hurt. "Oh no, no, no, no! I'm so sorry (Y/N) I didn't mean for that to happen! Are you ok?! Please tell me you're ok!"
"HOW COULD YOU JAY!?! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!" You yell as you run out of Jay's workshop, and out of the monastery all the way home. Away from Jay.

Zane
You had a bad day at school, and thought to go visit Zane to make it better. You knock on the monastery door and Cole answers it.
"Oh, hi (Y/N). What are you doing here?" He says and smiles
"Well, I came to see Zane."
Cole frowns, "I'm not sure you wanna do that."
"Why not?"
"Well, Jay got mad and called him a robot, and now they hate each other. Plus Zane keeps looking at us like he's gonna take our heads off."
"Sounds like he had a bad day too. I'm gonna go try to cheer him up."
"Ok, but just warning you."
You walk to Zane's room and knock on his door.
"Go away Jay. I do not wish to have you in my presence any longer."
"Zane, it's me." You say.
Zane opens the door and lets you come in.
"You had a bad day too?" You ask
"Yeah, I presume one of my brothers explained what happened?"
You nod your head.
"You shouldn't love a robot, (Y/N)."
You look up to the door to see Jay.
"Go away Jay." Zane says sternly.
"Make me you bucket of bolts."
Zane gets up, barges over to Jay, and punches him. They keep punching each other, and Jay seems to be losing.
"Ok, Zane. I think he's had enough."
"Stay out of this (Y/N)."
"Zane please stop! I don't like this side of you!"
"I SAID STAY OUT OF IT!" Zane says and ice shoots out of his hands, hitting you. You fall to the ground breathing heavy, and try to get the coldness to leave your body. Zane stops and looks at you.
"What have I done? Are you ok?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. Good bye Zane." You say and walk out the door, back to the orphanage. You are so cold now, and hope it won't last long.

Cole
You are hanging out at the monastery all day, but Cole seems to be ignoring you completely.
"What's up with Cole? He's been ignoring me all day?" You ask Kai.
"Well ya see, Zane baked a cake for Cole, and when Cole went to eat it, your brother stuck a firecracker in it, so it exploded. He's furious, and I'd stay away from him if I were you."
"I'm going up to see him."
With that you run up the stairs and knock on Cole's door.
"Lloyd I swear if that's you, you're dead."
He opens the door and says, "I'm not in the mood to see you either go away!" Then he slams it shut.
"Well that's rude!" You open the door and say.
"I said go away. What don't you get about that?"
"You're mad, I just want to be here for you."
"It's not just the cake."
"Then what is it?"
"I don't wanna talk about it."
"You can tell—"
"I SAID I DON'T WANNA TALK ABOUT IT!!" tears are streaming down his face, anger in his voice.
"Oh, ok, I'm sorry. " You give him a hug.
But suddenly, you stumble backwards and hit your head against the wall... hard. You instantly get dizzy, have a headache, and blurry vision.
"(Y/N), I didn't mean to do that! I'm so sorry!"
"And I'm sorry I ever met you!" You say and rush out of the room crying.
Lloyd is walking down the hallway towards you. "Hey sis what's uh...what's wrong."
"Nothing," you say and start to walk away, but you fall and luckily Lloyd catches you.
"Obviously something is. Tell me now, please."
You give him a look, and he knows,
"COLE!! WHAT DID YOU DO TO (Y/N)? I'M SO GONNA KILL YOU!"
You walk to Lloyd's room, lay down, and bawl your eyes out.

Lloyd
Lloyd invites you over to the monastery to play video games. It is all going well until the guys decide to start something.
"Where's my candy guys? That was for me and (Y/N)."
"Ya mean this candy?" Jay's asks and pops another one in his mouth.
"Yes, that candy. Oh well. Has anyone seen my comics?"
"These comics?" Asks Zane and holds up a mold of a falcon, made entirely from Lloyd's comics."
"Who turned your funny switch on?"
They all laugh and Lloyd storms up to his room. You follow.
"Lloyd?"
"Go away."
You try to open the door but it's locked.
"But Lloyd—"
"Please just go away."
"What they did to you down there was entirely wrong. Now would you unlock the door?"
He opens the door, and you notice he's playing with one of his knives, dragging it across his skin.
"Listen, I know you're trying to make me feel better, but I'm telling you my tempers explosive, and I don't wanna hurt you. I'm already so angry."
"Don't you even wanna talk a little bit?"
"No, I want you to get out."
"What are you doing with that knife ?"
"Does it matter?"
"Yes it does, I love you."
Lloyd looks up at you, worry and anger in his eyes. "Get out of here and you'll be safe from me."
"No Lloyd, you let me in your room, I'm staying."
"GET OUT!"
"Lloyd—"
"GET OUT NOW!!" He yells and throws the knife, striking you in the arm.
You grab your arm and start to back out of the doorway.
"(Y/N) I'm sorry! I didn't mean to. Let Uncle look at it please!"
"Conceal it, don't feel it. Don't let it show." You say and run out of his room, all the way home. Where you don't have to conceal it, because your parents don't care.
