When He Actually Talks To Your Family

Kai
"I already met you parents though," Kai says shrugging.
"I know, but they want to have supper with you. I guess to get to know you better."
"But your dad hates me."
"Maybe a little bit."
"Wait, what?!" Kai says as you open the door to your house.
"Hi Kai!" (M/N) says.
"Hello Mrs.(L/N)," Kai says shaking her hand.
"What's for supper?" You ask
"Fried chicken."
"OOO I love fried chicken!" Kai says
Your mom chuckles and finishes making supper. She calls your dad and siblings in to eat, and of course your dad and brother basically run in.
"Oh, its you." You dad says when he sees Kai.
"Good evening, Mr. (L/N)."
Your dad takes his seat while still eyeing Kai.
"So, Kai, if that's your real name... what do you do for a living?" Your dad asks
"Well, sir... I'm a ninja. I run around protecting and saving people."
"You protect people? Interesting... but yet you hurt my daughter?"
Kai's face goes pale and he looks down at the table.
"Dad!" You say through gritted teeth glaring at him.
"I want an answer!"
"(D/N), knock it off. This is supposed to be supper, not an interrogation." Says your mom.
"Sir, with all do respect, it was an accident."
"That doesn't look like an accident. You look like an accident!"
"Da(D/N)!!" Both you and your mom yell at the same time.
"No it's true. I am an accident." Kai says
Everyone at the table stares at Kai.
"Even accidents should be forgiven." Kai says
"Aww, honey how could you not forgive that?" Your mom asks your dad.
"Well, that is kinda hard not to forgive. So I guess I can forgive you."
"Oh, thanks sir! I promise it won't happen again."
"It better not."
You all finish supper and Kai has to go. You walk out the door with him and talk.
"Well I still think your dad doesn't like me."
"Oh well. He'll have to learn to like you because your what makes me happy."
"Awww, thanks. You're my happiness too!" Kai says as he pulls you in for a kiss.
"Bye (Y/N)... Love you."
You're shocked at first because neither of you have used that word yet to each other.
"Bye Kai, love you too." You say as he walks away.
"Seriously no more kissing!"
"Stop spying on me!" You say

Jay
You and Jay are walking in the park.
"No Jay, you can't meet my parents."
"Oh, why not (Y/N)? I'm sure they're just like you!"
"Jay it's just a lot more complicated then that." You say.
He looks in your eyes worriedly, and pulls you under a cherry blossom tree.
"(Y/N), what's wrong? If you need to talk to me I'm right here."
You smirk at him and say, "You always know what to say."
"Then what's wrong?" He asks again
Your about to tell him when... "(Y/N) what are you doing?"
You turn around to see your parents come barging towards you.
"Who's this?" Mom asks
"Mom, dad. This is Jay... my boyfriend."
"Your boyfriend?! Young lady I thought you were told you couldn't see him anymore. Besides that he hurt you. Another reason you're not allowed to date."
"Moooom!" You say
"Ma'am can I please say something?"
"What, pipsqueak?"
"Ok, I'm going to ignore that name and pretend that didn't happen. I love your daughter—"
"Are you sure you should be saying love?"
"And I would like to ask permission to date your daughter."
"No."
"Why not?"
"We don't trust teenage boys. They want stuff and our daughter doesn't need to be going through that." Says your dad
"Sir, I don't want anything from your daughter. I love her for who she is, and I don't want to do anything that will make her uncomfortable."
"Well, this is making me uncomfortable. So let's go."
You grab Jay's hand and start to walk away when your dad says, "Young man. If you leave, we'll never let you date our daughter."
"Sorry, (Y/N). I have to. I don't want to lose you." Jay turns back around to face your parents
"What makes you think you can keep our girl safe from harm?"
"Well, I'm a ninja, I know spinjitzu, and ya know I've saved this city from danger before."
"Getting a little boastful?"
"You asked."
"Ya know what. I guess you seem like an okay guy. I guess you can date our daughter." Your mom says
"Really, oh thank you thank you thank you!!"
He turns around, picks you up, and spins you around, then kisses you.
"This is the happiest day of my life!!"
"I guess we have to keep our daughter happy." Says your dad
"Thanks dad, thanks mom!" You say, running up and kissing them
