"I do not see why this is necessary. Can you not verbally ask her without involving us?" Zane asks, as Kai paints the letter P on his stomach.

"I mean, I could. But I think she would enjoy this so much more." Kai smirks, not looking up from his paint job.

"And what letter are you gonna be, exactly?" Cole glares, waiting his turn to be painted on.

"I'm not gonna be a letter." Kai replies.

"What do you mean, 'you're not gonna be a letter?' This is your promposal!" Cole exclaims, glaring at Kai.

"Because I'm going to be the question mark."

"Kai is correct. A question mark is not a letter. It is classified as punctuation." Zane clarifies.

"Yeah... thanks Zane." Cole says sarcastically.

"You are welcome!" Zane beams, happy to have helped.

———— Small Time Skip ————

"Okay, everyone remember what we're doing?" Kai asks, making sure everyone remembers the plan.

"Yeah, but, isn't that weird to you that she's gonna see us kind of shirtless?" Lloyd asks.

"No. It's not like she hasn't seen all of us shirtless at some point, especially during training. Besides, I know she won't be looking at any of you the same way she looks at me." Kai smirks, his cockiness evident in his expression.

The sound of the door opening jolts them out of their conversation, and Kai hushes everyone, quickly arranging them in the correct order.

"Kai! I'm home." You say as you walk around trying to find him.

You stop short as you enter the game room and see the five ninja standing there. Kai clears his throat, drawing your attention down to him.

"(Y/N), I know you usually have a hard time saying no to me, but I have to be a gentleman and ask anyways..." Kai starts.

One by one, the ninja start lifting their shirts. Zane revealing the letter P, Jay R, Cole O, Lloyd M, and Kai a question mark. Kai looks at you with a smirk, waiting for your answer.

"Well, what do you say?"

"Well, I don't think I can take all 5 of you to prom." You joke, getting laughs out of Jay, Cole, and Lloyd, and a look of confusion from Zane.

"Ha ha," Kai laughs sarcastically, giving you an unamused glare.

"Hmm... although, the one with the question mark is really hot... I think I'll go with him." You giggle, walking up to Kai, and kissing his cheek.

Jay
As you are sitting on the couch, reading a book, a knock pierces through the silence. Thinking one of the ninja will answer it, you ignore it and continue reading. After a minute or two, the knock sounds again, causing you to finally look up from your book. That's when you notice how quiet it actually is in the monastery, and release a sigh before closing your book, and going to answer the door.

Upon opening the door, you are greeted by Lloyd in an old renaissance outfit, a trumpet in one hand, and a scroll in the other. Once he notices you, he brings the trumpet to his lips, and attempts to play a jubilant tune. His poor attempt causing you to giggle, even more so as his face turns red before finally finishing. Lloyd clears his throat and opens his scroll.
