Failure comes in between

Didnt ask for much, didnt cry for more
She always thought that she would score

She buried all the miseries in her heart
They all thought she was filled with a happiness' cart

When she tried to earn something on her own
Whatever she did whatever she wanted always got blown

Her family was full of hopes and dreams
Later on, they were the ones who said there was no gleam

Their bragging about her siblings continued to flow
All they said about her was that she would never grow

She wiped in her room at night
Searching and wondering if she would ever find that piece of light
