Elizabeth's POV
"What's your step baby." Harry says behind me as I proceed to step on the ladder connecting the boat and the dock. I am thankful for Harry's touch on my back as he helps me up the ladder. Once I carefully climb on deck, I turn around and hold my hand out for Harry to take so he could do the same.
"Thank you." He mutters giving me a sweet smile once he is on board. As Harry moves past me to walk over to the driving space, I take this bit of time to scan the seating area consisting mostly of white and brown wood. The area is large big enough for the both of us and if our friends where here, it would able to sit them as well.
"Alright baby, what do you say we get this show on the road?" Harry calls out to me. I turn my head seeing him standing at the front of the boat.
"Come here." He says holding his hand out. I make my way over and he moves to sit down in one of the two seats in front. Harry grasps my hand and tugs me onto his lap, slightly shifting in the leather seat before reaching over and turning on the engine. I smile at him, pressing a kiss on his jaw as he slowly begins to move the boat.
Once Harry found a comfortable spot far away from the shore, he stops the boat, living the keys in the ignition. I stand up from his lap so he could stand and I make my way over back to the seating area. My eyes take in the deep blue water around us and I couldn't help but smile at how the sun's rays danced along the water, practically making the surface of the water glitter in its wake.
"Do you want a drink?" Harry asks. I turn my head and see him holding up a bottle of champagne and two glass flutes in his other hand.
"Yes, please." I reply shyly, pushing my hair behind my ear before, reaching out taking the glasses away from him so he could open the bottle.
Once the bottle was open, Harry filled each flute with pink, rosy colored champagne before setting the bottle down on the small wooden table beside us. I hand him a champagne flute as he wraps his arm around my waist pulling me into him, his hand resting on my waist. I look expectantly up at him as he gazes down at me, before looking at the floor,as I wrap my arm around him too.
"Thank you." He says after a beat, his green eyes flickering over to me. "Thank you for making me the happiest man alive. I know loving me has not been easy."
Briefly, a tidal wave of all our struggles, our fights about Niall, our fights for survival from all of our enemies that were hidden in the shadows, flash at the front of my mind at his words.
"But I want to thank you for giving me a chance to prove myself to you. To...make me feel like I can be somebody for someone else." He says, looking down at me with soft green eyes, but his eyes held a bit of pain of insecurities, tugging at my heart.
"Thank you for given me hope and love these last few years that we have been together. I know I should be saying way more than what I am but, strangely...words are failing at me at the moment. Which by the way, happens a lot when I'm with you." He says, letting out a small chuckle past his lips.
"I do not wish to be apart from you from this moment on. Not a week, not a day, not even a bloody minute," he says shaking his head while rolling his eyes, smiling at his own words.
"So, here's to us, to our love and to our future." Harry adds, raising his champagne flute.
I can help but smile, practically beaming up at him with complete utter happiness as I raise my glass to his, clicking them together. Harry's eyes stay on me as we both take a sip out of our champagne.
Once I pull the glass away from my mouth, Harry leans in to press his lips to mine as I do the same. I smile against his soft lips, feeling like the luckiest girl in the whole world.
