Now, you probably have some questions running through your mind right now.
Well you don't seem dead, so what was that about?
What happened to that one girl you said was supposed to help things in the story? What was her name? *navigates to the first chapter* Rebecca?
Well, that's what this chapter is for. This chapter serves to show how life, in all its fucked up glory, sometimes wait until the last moment to bite us in the ass.

As we walked towards the castle, Raksha suddenly stopped. She was looking around warily, as if something was nearby. This could not be good, I said to myself.
Suddenly she rushed forward and grabbed Kait, the earth exploding upwards right where she was standing. I fell to the ground and covered my face and head. I could NOT afford to go unconscious again. I ran over to them.
"Are you okay?" I asked, hugging Kait. We looked in the direction of where the earth exploded. The rocks fell and the dust cleared and guess who was standing behind it all.
REBECCA FREAKING HANES.
Confusion flooded my mind, Rebecca? What was she doing here? HOW was she here?
She chuckled and Raksha stepped in front of us.
"Rebecca," Kait said, surprise and concern written over her face, "I'm sorry Raksha, somehow I didn't know she was one of them." One of them? I whispered.
Kait told me that she didn't know before but now she did. She was the rebel captain who followed her. Somehow she had managed to hide herself from Kait this entire time.
"Oh Princess Kait, how could you have known? I look nothing like I did when you saw me at first." Rebecca smiled. I was confused, how could Rebecca be a rebel captain from another world?
"Rebecca! How is this possible? I knew you since the 7th grade. How can you be ..." I asked, when suddenly it hit me. She laughed and confirmed my assumption.
"Dear boy, the real Rebecca Hanes is dead." She said. I felt no real loss over hearing that she was gone, I didn't like her much, but it still hit me hard because as bad as she was, she didn't deserve that. I started wondering how many more people from school could this have happened to. I could have been walking around with so many people thinking they were the ones I've know for so long, only to find out some sick bastard had killed them and taken their place. The Rebecca imposter began to show her true face. Her Rebecca façade melting away. At the revelation of her face Kait gasped. "You!" She said.
Raksha scowled, "You've fallen. You now aid the rebels in their quest to bring destruction to our world? You have failed as a guardian." So that's what she was, another guardian like Raksha. Kait grimace and then a realization hit her. It slammed her with such force that she bent over.
"But...if you're helping them...then that means..."
"Hello Kaitlyn." A voice said from behind us. Kait turned around and a tear fell from her eye.
"Regal, how could you."
"Give me the marble, sister, and no one has to die."
