"I grew up in an orphanage," she started one evening, turning to Tobias who had his arms resting behind his head with his eyes closed. He peaked at her when she started talking. In the week that they had been together, she didn't speak too much, and he treasured, along with everything else she did, the moments she opened her mouth.

"They weren't very good people, maybe because of the lack of money or the number of kids. I got fed up and I ran away," she shrugged, twiddling her fingers. "I lived on the streets until some guys came, they attacked me, like many others, and I panicked and ran towards the palace. I wasn't thinking and the guards surrounded and, I was on the verge of passing out before you came," she finished.

He pulled her into his arms, "You're so brave, sweet female." He kissed her head and nuzzled her gently. "Your fear didn't shut you down, it woke you up. It woke your precious little heart and brought you to me, and I could never be more thankful."

She smiled slightly, another rarity that he intended to make a part of their everyday lives, "I'm thankful for you too." Her eyes started to droop with sleep and he smiled with contentment.

That, however, dropped when he thought over her words, "You'll have to tell me the name of the orphanage, baby. I don't allow that kind of disturbance in my country," he stated. If you couldn't imagine, his country was a rather peaceful country and he intended to keep it that way, especially with the intentions to keep his Desire safe.
