Hey! So this is my first Clexa fanfic haha. Actually it's my first fanfic ever unless you count one shots. I'm going to try and update as often as possible, because as a fanfic reader myself I know how frustrating it can be waiting for the next part of a fanfic. To start, I'm Phoebe/Fifi and I'm a 16 year old Clexa shipper. Hope you enjoy this crappy fanfic of mine lmao

Lexa's PoV:
"So what have you got planned for this year?" my older sister Anya raised an eyebrow as my friend Titus started packing my schoolbooks in my backpack.
"Not sure yet," I shrugged from where I was sitting on the couch. "Probably the usual."
"Good," Anya nodded, "because we don't want a repeat of your freshman year."

I pursed my lips together. Ninth grade was something I didn't like talking about.

"It won't," I growled, "because I don't have anyone that close to me to lose this time."
"I'm just saying-"
"Well DON'T just say!" I cut my sister off with a sharp glare. "You have no idea what you're talking about."
"Lexa this may be your final year and you may have the whole school bowing to you, but don't fuck it up," she marched over to me and bent down to meet my eyes.

I lifted my chin to show superiority, but I will admit, Anya can be scary. She's more of a mentor than a sister recently, because I'm falling behind with school work and we haven't got any parents or the money to help me, so she does it herself.

"Leave us," I looked at Titus. He had almost finished packing my bag, but he knew not to object, and merely bowed to me before leaving for school himself.

"Lexa, I just want what's best for you," Anya sighed, putting a hand to my cheek and rubbing her thumb across it, a method she used when I was younger to help calm me down. I froze at the memory. "You've got finals this year, so do try not to get into a bunch of trouble again."
I sat there thinking for a while, before I finally slowly nodded at her. "Okay," I said softly. I knew she was right. I was seventeen now, and this had to stop.
"Look, I know you love to make an entrance, but you're going to be late in the first day. Take Roan," she smiled.

We lived in what some would call the middle of nowhere, with single, dusty tracks and nothing but forest and green spaces for miles. Our school was located here too, and I usually walked, but today I took Anya's beautiful horse, Roan. There were stables at our school, for many of the kids there rode to school. Some drove by car, but you could only get so far before the road ended and you had to walk anyway, whereas with a horse you could get through anything. I was saving for my own horse, but I always seemed to be paying for damages in our school.

As if reading my mind, Anya said, "If you survive today without damaging any school property, I will buy you your own horse."
"No way," I gasped at her.
"Your final year remember," she smirked. "Now go, or you'll be late."

Clarke's PoV:
I looked around my new surroundings as my other friends Raven, Octavia and Bellamy packed their bags.
"It's a lot of forest," I bit my lip.
"You're telling me," Bellamy raised an eyebrow coming to stand next to me and looking out the window of our new building.

Bellamy, Octavia, Raven and I had been the heart and soul of our high school back in the city. Arkadia had adored us, but after a recent dispute between our parents and ourselves, we were instructed to live here, and attend Polis Academy.
At first I didn't mind, it seemed like a nice change. Away from strict rules and annoying parents. However it didn't take long for me to realise we would no longer be top dogs here. I was a born leader. I wasn't meant to follow, and now I would be doing just that.

"They didn't even tell us where this stupid school is," Octavia grumbled, coming to stand with us. She was right. We'd assumed we could just ask someone for directions, but there was no one we could ask. Nobody was around.
"No wifi," Raven almost cried. "They better have some sort of technology in this school or I swear I'll float Chancellor Jaha for sending us here."

Chancellor Jaha was the commander of our city, and unfortunately one of my mum's best friends.

"Look, everything will be fine," I said, although I knew damn well it wouldn't be.
"And you can be sure of that how?" Raven raised her eyebrows at me.
"I can't," I sighed, "but we've just got to hope."
My brunette friend rolled her eyes but went and grabbed her bag anyway.
"We've got a map and a compass, so let's get going," Bellamy instructed. He passed both items to me and we set off in search of our new school.

We hadn't gotten far into the forest before we heard the sound of a horse galloping.
"A person!" Octavia gasped.
"Oh sweet relief!" Raven sighed.
"Hey!" I shouted, running towards the horse. It most definitely wasn't far from us.
I saw it approaching us, and it thankfully slowed to a halt.

I gasped. Stood before me was the most beautiful creature I had ever seen. I'd heard of horses before, but I'd never actually got to see one up close. They were much taller than I expected, and made the figure sitting in the saddle look even more daunting. It was definitely a girl, but she had a green cloak on with the hood up, so I couldn't make out her features.

"You stopped my horse and I," she spoke in a profound manner. Clearly she was of some importance around here. "Explain."
"Oh!" I said, flustered, "I'm sorry, it's just we're new to this area and we don't know how to get to this school...what was it called again?" I looked at my friends for help.
"Polis Academy," Octavia took over.
"Polis Academy?" the girl looked thoughtful and paused for a few seconds. "Never heard of it."
And she rode away again.

I'll update again soon! Either again today or maybe tomorrow, but I hope you've liked this! Comments would be appreciated so I can improve it, and maybe votes if you like the chapter? Thanks! :) xox
