Octavia's PoV:
We all walked slowly to the forest, discussing why Titus would want to meet Bellamy there. It's forbidden to leave the school campus during school hours, so it can't be a good thing.
"Did he say where in the forest?" Indra looked at Lincoln expectantly.
"To the east," Lincoln shrugged. Nowhere specific.
"Well, no time like the present to find out," I said and started running forward to the east of the forest.
"Octavia!" I heard Indra shout, then footsteps running after me.
It surprised me how Bellamy wasn't the one to call out for me. He usually always cared for me. But I turned around, and it wasn't Indra who had run after me. It wasn't Bellamy either. It was Lincoln.
"Octavia you can't just go running into the forest," he grabbed hold of my arm.
"Why not?" I looked up at him.
"It's dangerous! You could be killed," he sighed, looking at me as though I was mad.
"I had to make my way through a hundred security guards all armed with machine guns when I only had a knife so I could kill the Chancellor. I don't need a lecture on danger," I rolled my eyes.
"Actually, that's even more reason why you need a lecture on danger," he looked at me and half laughed, forcing a smile out of me too.
"Be right back," Lincoln said, and jogged back over to the others who were still slowly walking.
I decided to keep venturing on into the woods myself.

I hadn't gone far when a strong arm pulled me from the side and started tying me up to a tree. I tried to scream, but the stranger gagged my mouth and tied my restraints tighter. I glanced quickly to my right and saw John Murphy, a student in my class back home and Bellamy's best friend, tied up the same way as me. I looked straight ahead and my eyes met with the most surprising sight yet.

Titus. And he was holding a gun.

Clarke's PoV:
Lexa and I started walking towards the group of others, only to see Octavia suddenly run ahead and then disappear into the woods.
"What the hell is she thinking?!" Lexa exclaimed, and started running, grabbing my hand and dragging me with her.
"I don't know!" I called back.
"INDRA!" Lexa yelled, so loud I think I momentarily lost my hearing.
Indra turned, the others turning with her.
Given the speed Lexa was running at and the fact she was dragging me with her, it didn't take us long to reach our friends.
"Where did Octavia go?" I breathed.
"With Lincoln," Bellamy looked ahead, but saw Lincoln wasn't with Octavia anymore, instead was walking slowly towards us.
"Where the hell did Octavia go?!" Raven ran up to him and shoved him backwards.
"She's just-" Lincoln turned around and when he saw no Octavia, he momentarily froze before running into the forest.
"Follow him," Lexa commanded. We all did, Lexa still holding my hand tight. I thought she'd just forgotten about it, but she stroked her thumb softly over it and squeezed it tightly, looking around and smiling. I felt a bolt of electricity run through me. I definitely felt something towards this girl.

We all entered the forest, to immediately be confronted with Titus.
Lincoln looked past him and saw Octavia tied to a tree.
"Octavia!" he called out, and tried to reach him, but Titus revealed he was holding a gun.
"I would advise you not to do that," he said.
"Titus what are you doing?" Lexa looked at him with anger.
"This is Bellamy's first lesson. It is his task. You cannot have a say in what happens here. Come with me," Titus said, and motioned for Bellamy to come with him.
We all followed after Bellamy; after seeing what he'd done to Octavia, there was no way we were leaving them alone together. Even Indra and Lexa saw that.

"Here is your sister Octavia," he said, motioning towards a tree where a slightly bruised and cut Octavia was standing, gagged and tied up. "And here is your best friend Murphy."

Murphy was Bellamy's best friend since birth. They argued a lot, but at the end of the day they would do anything for each other. Seeing Murphy bruised all over and cut in many places was horrifying.

"You must kill one of them," Titus said, holding out the gun to Bellamy.
"No," Bellamy said, shaking. "No, no way."
I turned to Lexa to see if she'd intervene, but everyone was stood there frozen. Lexa's hand went limp from mine, and slowly fell out.
"We need to see where your loyalties lie!" Titus yelled. "Kill one of them, or I will kill you."
"My loyalties will never lie with someone who thinks killing innocent people is acceptable," Bellamy growled. "So shoot me now."
"Bellamy, no!" I shouted, but Titus had already taken the gun to Bellamy's head.
I saw the complete horror in Octavia's eyes.
That's when Lincoln unfroze. He punched Titus straight in the head, knocking him out cold, then ran to Octavia to free her.
"Everyone go!" he yelled. "I'll help the boy! Get to the meeting point."
"Clarke, come on!" Lexa cried.
"Lexa we can't go back there, Titus will kill us!" I fretted.
"He won't," Lexa said. "Please trust me."
I don't know what it was that made me trust the beautiful brunette, but I did. I nodded, and we started running after the others.
I prayed Lincoln would recover Murphy and Octavia before Titus came back around.

I'm sorry I don't have time to write more right now! I've got an idea for another fic too, so I'll start writing that one so it can be published when this ones finished :)
