The next morning Mike was shaken awake by Nancy. "Mike. Mike!" She said quietly and he turned, his arms still wrapped tight around Eleven. "Nancy...? What time is it?" He asked groggily, looking around for his watch. "Almost 7. Which means mom and dad will be up soon, and if you wanna keep her," she pointed at the still sleeping Eleven, "around, I suggest you go upstairs and act like nothing happened." Nancy finished and headed upstairs, going to get ready for the school day. It was Monday after all. Mike sighed and slowly woke Elle up, shaking her softly. "Elle... Elle..." he said softly. She turned, blinking. "hmm?" she mumbled and instantly Mike just wanted to cuddle up to her and forget about school and life and everything. She was just so dang cute. "I have to go... I have to get ready for school a-and my parents can't know I slept down here..." he said quietly, already starting to gather his things and get up. Elle grabbed his hand, "Don't go..." she said. He smiled, leaning over and kissing her on the cheek quickly. He grabbed his watch, strapping it to her wrist once again. "When the numbers read seven zero five, come upstairs, okay?" She nodded and off Mike went.
"So, Eleven, are you excited to start school?" Mrs. Wheeler said. Mike and Eleven looked at each other. "What?" they said. "Well I registered Elle for school! She needs an education." Nancy steps forward. "And that's where I come in! If she's going to school, she needs a makeover." Eleven blushed, looking down at herself. "Sh-She's fine the way she is!" Mike said, suddenly defensive. "Oh I'm sure you think so Mike! Have a good sleep last night?" That made him back off, blushing. "Shut up Nancy..." he mumbled. "Thought so. Common Elle!" Nancy says with a smirk, leading the confused girl up the stairs. It was a whirlwind for Eleven, half the stuff they were saying still didn't make any sense, even after Hopper's education. After all, the poor girl had been in a science lab alone for almost 12 years. Once the door was shut in Nancy's room, Elle sat on the bed as Nancy gather her makeup. "What's... makeover?" Elle asked, careful not to sound foolish to the girl she admired. "It's... Well it's something that people do when want to look pretty! Maybe change it up a little!" Nancy said, smiling as she sat on the bed in front of Elle, picking up her blush. "You know, they put a little makeup on..." Nancy said as she brushed the blush on carefully, moving quickly onto the mascara. "They fix their hair... maybe buy some new clothes..." After the tiniest bit on mascara was applied, she swiped a little lip gloss on Elevens small lips. "And viola! They're a whole new person, the past gone!" Nancy smiled, handing her a brand new, light blue dress. "Why don't you go change? Then meet us downstairs." Elle nodded, heading into the bathroom. As she was going to change, she caught a glance at herself in the mirror and stopped. She was beautiful. Mike had put makeup on her before, but nothing like this. Her hair was styled with a glittery headband, her eyes popped, and her pale cheeks were now bright with color. She reached up, touching her cheek lightly. "A whole new person.." she whispered.
